The headline actually reads ‘Military class suspended for view on Islam‘
‘A course for U.S. military officers has been teaching that America’s enemy is Islam in general, not just terrorists, and suggesting that the country might ultimately have to obliterate the Islamic holy cities of Mecca and Medina without regard for civilian deaths, following World War II precedents of the nuclear attack on Hiroshima or the allied firebombing of Dresden.
The Pentagon suspended the course in late April when a student objected to the material. The FBI also changed some agent training last year after discovering that it, too, was critical of Islam…’
Why not simply surrender the West to them and be done?

    Seems to me Lt.Col Mathew Dooley, has the situation summed up about right; his superiors on the other hand, are too busy climbing the greasy pole, trying to curry favour with their political bosses, to ever allow for anything other than complete accommodation with an enemy who has declared war on us since the seventh century. One could remind these clowns what happened to Marshall Petain, Pierre Laval, Vikud Quiling and other assorted worthys who collaborated with the enemy in times of war. A people who endure much pain and anguish due to foolish political posturing are unlikely to extend too many niceties to those who have betrayed them in times of conflict, no matter what the likes of Tony Blair & NuLabour write into the statute books.

    Lt. Col. Dooley has/had the good sense to contemplate what may in the end be absolutely necessary for the survival of our culture and countries. The political culture that believes it can talk its way through this is wishing on a twinkling star; ironic given just how many of them are either avowed or latent atheists. God is just a sky fairy, but Tinkerbell hides under a burka, just waiting to be teased out by the clever wordsmiths who deign to walk amongst us.

    Of course Laval, Quisling and Petain committed their follies after their nations were conquered. As you say KG, our current crop of useless idiots would appear to wish to actively surrender before any real nastiness starts. It will only result in some enormous catastrophe somewhere down the road. But we’re the bad guys of course. :roll:

    Eventually it will come to mass casualty strikes such as Medina and Mecca and for that matter quite a few other places.

    We’re going to need the Dooleys one day, Richard, but politics will have neutered our officers by then.
    The islamists are winning because they have a very clear vision of their objective and are ruthless in pursuit of that vision, while we are losing because people like Dooley are silenced and disempowered.
    The will never be another Pershing or Patton, I fear.

      Not so sure of that yet. The tale is not told until the symbol of the crescent moon, is raised in triumph over all the capitals of Europe. Remember, Spain fell easily to the Moorish invaders, and Andalusia was engraved in blood and stone for seven hundred years, but the conquered, became the conquerors and booted the Islamic faith back to the shores of North Africa. When one considers what little was left of Christian Spain and Portugal after the invasion of Islam, one must admit, there must have been some pretty determined peoples, striving to regain their country. In today’s world, far too many are either uninvolved or unsure of what to do, or what to believe. Always remember, most people get their information from the media, either newsprint or the TV, and as those of us who have paid attention know full well, a bigger pack of liars would be hard to find…well, I guess you could find their equivalent in the madrassas and sundry institutions of Islam; I guess like attracts like. No, we must first endure some real suffering before the scales will fall from our eyes.

      One can see, with each passing month, the tone and narrative of the ruling elite is being challenged by real events. The case of the Muslim grooming, (revolting phrase, could only have been dreamed up by some legal mind, seeking to obscure the depravity of the whole sordid affair) in Manchester, UK, is bringing out the useful idiots of the current orthodoxy in a desperate bid to stem the tide of public outrage. Read some of the comments from this Biased BBC review of the BBC flagship political affairs program “Question Time” to get a taste of the moral degradation the multiculturalist believers will descend to in order to maintain the fiction of their morally superior world view. “It was the families fault”, “the authorities”, “social services,” and the worst of all, “the girls were asking for it”.

      Each passing incidence, small and insignificant in itself, taps another nail into the coffin of political correctness and its marxist overlords. AS the line in the song goes, “men of steel, men of power, losing control by the hour” (though somehow I doubt it is quite what Phil Collins had in mind when he wrote that).

      No KG, it will need our backs to the wall before the current order is overthrown, and then we will see a steel resolve. Islam will overstep its welcome sooner or later, and all the cries of “right wing fascist”, “racists”, “bigots and xenophobes” will finally be over-worn meaningless drivel, with no hold on anyone.

      Western society has been held in check by the marxist trick of making everybody complicit in the lie, and by so doing, rendering the voice of the people to impotence. Make no mistake, the ruling elite of the Western world is almost wholly marxist, even if many of the fools themselves either deny it or cannot see it, they are soaked in it, it drips from their every protest for social justice, from every social program they enact for the betterment of man, for a better world tomorrow. The words may sound innocuous, but the consequences of their actions reveal the real truth.

      Sorry it got so long KG, but then, you say you don’t mind a rant now and then.
