the religion of peace, doing what it does best:

The photograph and the text have been removed. A commenter (Kay) pointed out that the photograph was from an incident in the Congo in 2010, not Nigeria. My apologies, and thanks to Kay.

The world will say nothing while this is happening. After all it is being done by Muslims (the masters) to Christians (the slaves) and not being done by Jews.

  2. KG says:

More to the point, some forms of genocide are now either unmentionable–or tacitly sanctioned.

  3. kowtow says:

When a nutty pastor in Florida says he’ll burn a book it is immediately massive world news and no less a person than the President gets involved.
Burn down a church with Christians in it? Move along ,nothing to see here.

    • KG says:

I have a feeling that a lot of Western militant atheists don’t give a stuff either, kowtow, given just how strident their anti-Christian pronouncements have become lately.

      • Mark.V. says:

What atheists do not realise that they are next after Jews and Christians. Muslims hate atheists even more than Jews and Christians who are afterall “people of the Book”.

  4. Darin says:

The problem with Christians is we are just too Christian.

  5. KG says:

Yep. I’ve been saying for a long time that’s time to can this “turn the other cheek” and “forgiveness” stuff. Time for a return to a more..ah..muscular brand of Christianity, if it’s to survive.

    • But what exactly is that? We are a humane people and that is what Darin is alluding to. We need to overcome this, but how–it’s in our DNA?

      • KG says:

Violence is in our DNA, Conservative. The canine incisors, the fact that our brains respond with positive signals when we exact revenge, all manner of physiological responses remind us that we’re still the “killer ape”.
Civilized behaviour is appropriate when dealing with civilized people, but in some circumstances it can be a lethal handicap.
All the overlays of forgiveness, tolerance and legally codified combat are just that–overlays. Until we accept that some of them simply aren’t appropriate when dealing with filth such as those responsible for the slaughter in that photograph then we’ll continue to lose ground in the battle against them.
“Battle”? Well, it’s hardly that yet. Shackle the lawyers and the politicians and the voices of “moderation” and “reason”, then it can be battle.
        And we would win.

  6. steve magendans says:

If the crusaders had’nt defended the faith a few centuries ago , and pushed the filthy savages back to their sandy shitholes . There would’nt have been any civilization or christianity. Surely the time is overdue to do it again.

  7. KG says:

Amen! Time for another crusade. Past time.

And crank the sound up. ;-)

  8. Kay says:

This picture looks like it comes from an explosion in the Congo in July 2010: http://www.afrik.com/article20308.html

    • KG says:

Yes, it does Kay. Certainly, it looks like the same building in the background.
I’ll get in touch with the person who sent it to me and in any case, will take the post down.
Of course, such things are happening in Nigeria right now, but this goes to the credibility of the original email and I’d prefer not to run it.
      Thanks for letting us know.
