I wish I’d taken a photo of the creek when I first got to town. It’s up to the road bridge now. SES bloke I spoke to this morning reckons another metre or so to go.
No evacuations needed. But should that be the case later I know where to meet the townsfolk. Internet-yes (telstra) Phone-no (optus) (wtf Emergency Calls Only when I put $$$ on yesterday )
Raining and cool today in Seattle -has it has been for the last several months – and I suggested to God that we could do a trade with Queensland and send some of our coolness and rain to them in exchange for some warm, dry weather.
and a melting (so called highway). The road trains do enormous damage but they are so necessary. We need a North QLD State. Fuck the Southeast!
G’day, Marc! Good to see you.
Yeah, the road trains give it a hammering, but they’re needed, and anyway they pay shitloads in taxes.
Did you get much rain?
