Screw Google.

Enter “list all NRA commercials” in youTube and you’ll get a whole lot of anti-NRA videos. The search term is very clear, therefore the results demonstrate a clear political agenda on Google’s part.

    Ronald Reagan – “A Time for Choosing” – 1964

Just change some words and you can use it again.

    That’s a great clip, Robert.

Here’s a much shorter version. (just the highlights)
This was easily the finest political speech I’ve seen in a long lifetime.

The reason the left is so worked up about these NRA media buys is this:

They are the first time that someone has engaged in such direct personal-political combat and a direct body blow against Barack Obama in a very long time.

Look at the list of Obama’s prime political opponents between 2004 and 2012:

Blair Hull, Dan Hynes, Jack Ryan, Alan Keyes, Hillary Clinton, John McCain, John Boehner, Mitt Romney.

One single NRA ad against Obama in 2013 has been more effective and more combative then EVERYTHING that every listed person above has “brought” against Obama, which is to say, virtually no real opposition.

Heck, the same thing could be said for that black neurosurgeon giving it to Obama quasi-personally to his own face at that prayer breakfast.

Virtually everyone is scared to take Obama on, because of the dreaded “R” word.

BTW, I’m adding Crusader Rabbit to my blogroll in just a few minutes. I’ve been looking for a good high quality Australia/New Zealand blog for awhile.

Damn good point, Countenance. I see in American thinker there’s an item about the left’s reaction to Carson. For what it’s worth, I do believe that’s why Sarah Palin arouses them to paroxysms of rage, too. A real conservative voice has become something of a rarity and will be attacked using every means possible.

The inference there is obvious–the left is very, very close to winning and anybody who can rally the opposition in these late stages of resentment and anger must be destroyed.

Thanks for the kind word about CR. I’ll pop over to your site after about the third coffee or so. Need to wake up.

Except I’m not a huge fan of Sarah Palin:

And as far as Dr. Carson, well, he can be the best brain surgeon he can. But I don’t want him to be President, ever. Not he or any other non-white. Much less any race-denying or race traitor whites.

I just want the best person for the job, whether they be white, black, yellow or purple with pink spots.
If they love liberty and respect the Constitution, and will fight the tide of totalitarian filth rolling over us then I’ll support them.

      Nothing new in U.S. history….

If you read about the period leading up to the American Civil War – hate speech by Democrats against Republicans – and outright physical attacks on their persons even in the U.S. Congress – were quite common in the 1850s.

Lincoln was called among many other foul things by Democrats – “a hairy ape” – and when he was elected president in 1860 – the Democrat majority Southern states left the Union and civil war broke out in the spring of 1861.

I think at some point the hate speech and character assassination by the Democrats in this era will end in massive violence against the Republicans, and this will be the start of a Second U.S. Civil War many more times more horrible than the last one.
