More media dishonesty:

The headline: “Climate change link to Australian heatwave”
The text of the article says no such thing.
These “journalists” know damn well it’s the headline that sticks in people’s minds.

BRIGHT COMET PAN-STARRS: Comet Pan-STARRS (C/2011 L4) is inside the orbit of Mercury, brightening as it plunges toward the sun. Observers in the southern hemisphere say they can see Pan-STARRS with the unaided eye in the evening sunset sky.

Alas, it isn’t the author of the piece who gets to write the headline, it’s the sub-editor. One could therefore have a perfectly sensible anti-AGW piecedestroyed by a pro-AGW headline and there is probably nothing the author could do about it.

…and the Lefturds wonder why no one is reading their fucked up, lying and dying Lamestream Media.

In America, for example, more than half the population get their news and opinion articles from trusted sources, and discuss the current events with friends on websites like Crusader Rabbit.

The print Leftist news media is a thing of the past – outside my apartment building near downtown Seattle on a very busy street, the coin operated newspaper seldom sells a copy of the local propaganda arm of Democommie Party called the “Seattle Times.”

What comes around, goes around – and if you keeping printing shit about AGW, that was exposed as a hoax in 2009, the public stops buying your newspaper/magazine and you go out of business.

Good theory but in NZ the process is a slow one.
There are a few members of the msm who have resolutely refused to indulge in the man-made global warming fantasy but generally the blind and the stupid have lauded it. I fear that school children have had it drilled into them as an absolute rather than as a possibility. I note that in recent weeks, solely on the basis that we’ve had a decent hot summer, the msm have insisted their pet theory has been established beyond contradiction. At present there doesn’t seem to be an end to this.

If the articles are done on your side of the pond the way they are done over here, in all fairness to the authors, they write the story, not the headline. That ultimately falls to the editors. And it says something about the authors if they did not bring up a global warming link in their article. It might actually be a bit of decent reporting.
