‘I Don’t Believe People Should Be Able To Own Guns’

So says Barack Hussein Obama.
“..The truth is simple. We are lost and the politicians are lying to us everyday. We are broke and the social order is teetering on the raggedy edge and the government wants you to be defenseless while the politicians sit behind walls with armed guards. The stark hypocrisy of such a thing would be funny if we weren’t the poor, dumb, s.o.b.s who will find themselves out in the cold should the left get their way.”

    I don’t believe people should have any rights. Government knows what is good for you . Barack H Obambi and Co (nearly all the other politicians) .http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_cool.gif

    We all know how you can see a politician is lying. His lips are moving while there is air moving over his vocal cords.

  2. People who make such declarations in reality mean that they wish that people couldn’t defend themselves. It sounds much nicer when you say that they shouldn’t own firearms rather than to speak the uncomfortable truth. The one thing that is in very short supply in modern politics is the truth. At first there was right and wrong and then 64,000 shades of gray later nobody can tell the difference. There aren’t any perversions anymore and nobody is judged. In such an environment where even the guilty are not to blame for their actions, how can the truth survive? In such an environment people even question the definition of truth.

      @William:

      It looks like to me that Obama has studied great dictators like Hitler and knows it’s necessary to disarm the population before the final coup against the old regime.

      But the problem with this idea for Obama is that he’s not the only one who reads the history books – Also, he gave the opposition over five years to “gun up” and prepare for civil war to levels never seen before in this country.

      So Comrade Obama and Company had better be able to destroy the Republic in their first strike, because they won’t get a second chance.

    “I do not believe in taking away the right of the citizen for sporting, for hunting and so forth, or for home defense. But I do believe that an AK-47, a machine gun, is not a sporting weapon or needed for defense of a home.”

    Aw Shucks. Sucks to be you.

      Really? If it sucks to be me, it must be pure hell to be you……
      too utterly ignorant to know the difference between a machine gun, (that is, a full-auto weapon) and a self-loading rifle.
      The AR-15, sonny, is a self-loading rifle. That is, every time the trigger is pulled, another round is fed into the chamber.It won’t fire again until the trigger is pulled again.

      You see the difference? It’s kind of like you having to jerk yourself off, rather than getting a grown-up to do it for you as you do now. (I removed the details in that part of your comment–we don’t want to know what you and your big sister do in private.)

      The other major difference between what the Kenyan said and the Reagan quote ought to be too obvious to need pointing out, even to you.
      Now, run along to mommy and perhaps she’ll show you the difference between potty training and going to the lavatory all by yourself.

      @David:

      Right you are! It will suck to be on the receiving end of patriot anger when the almost inevitable civil war breaks out – “We know who you are and where you live and we will kill you.”

    In the American Revolution no one really knows how many Patriots were in the fight. Some believe that only 10-20% of soldiers ever applied for pensions. so if 700 Patriots fought against 1000 Brits, the true number of Patriots in battle may have been many times more, say 3500 vs 1000Brits. Everything was word of mouth then, hear there’s a fight tomorrow/soon, grab your rifle and head to it. I believe it is much the same today and word of mouth once established will work today.
