  1. KG says:

Not that the replacement is much better…..

    • Andrew Berwick says:

The replacement is Tony Abbott. Caretaker until the next election. The GG & independents will do what’s right for the Lucky Country.

The unions will riot – but Abbott’s always known how to deal with rioting scum – the only language they understand (hint; no Mr Erdogan, not rubber anything).

    • The Gantt Guy says:

The replacement is worse. He’s going to have to call an election immediately before the low-info mofos realise it’s the same beast wearing a different mask. And before the caucus tears itself completely apart.

At least with Gillard there was some certainty; everything they touched turned to shite through a combination of being ideologically poisonous, grossly incompetent and hopelessly divided. Rudd may (at least temporarily) remove the incompetence factor, leaving only the divided caucus and the poisonous ideology.

It will be a lot harder for the Coalition to defeat RuddLabor than GillardLabor. Especially if Rudd calls the election during the sugar-hit honeymoon period (which he will, because one thing he isn’t, is stupid).

      • Andrew Berwick says:

It’s still not clear Rudd will be PM. If the GG was unbiased it Abbott would be sworn in as caretaker right now — hell if the GG was unbiased Abbott would have been sworn in 5 1/2 years ago!

But the Aussie GG is the mother-in-law of Labor’s biggest power broker…

        • KG says:

“But the Aussie GG is the mother-in-law of Labor’s biggest power broker…”
Which fact the MSM NEVER mentions. Of course.

  2. Brown says:

I was hoping she would stay and oversee the demise to its conclusion. The bitching going inside Labour must be ferocious.

  3. KG says:

Now the news is that it’s not settled yet. I’ll stand by what I’ve posted though.

  4. KG says:

    Rudd defeats Gillard in ballot 57 – 45 @dailytelegraph #auspol

  5. Andrew Berwick says:

The independents are backing Abbott as caretaker to a snap election – an election in which Labor will be wiped out, hopefully for ever.

At long long last Abbott will be able to undo all the damage from Gillard, Keating & Hawke – damage even Howard couldn’t undo. – but Abbott can finish the job Howard started:

    End the carbon tax
End the ban on mining coal, oil & uranium
    End the unions
    End the medicare
    End the socialist indoctrination system
End the unfair taxes on the rich, on wealth, on corporates

and about all – get the federal government out of welfare where it has never, ever, belonged.

Hell – on current polls, Abbott will be able to ask the question from 1951 and get rid of leftism from Aussie permanently.

Because leftism is unconstitutional in any free society.

    • KG says:

“Hell – on current polls, Abbott will be able to ask the question from 1951 and get rid of leftism from Aussie permanently.”
Nope. That’s a serious mis-reading of the politics involved and the Australian electorate.
The election will now be much closer than it would have been with Gillard as PM.

  6. KG says:

I’m very, very glad to see the cow gone, but I’d have preferred that the voters kicked her out in a landslide election defeat.

  7. KG says:

‘A range of constitutional experts have raised questions about whether the knifing of Julia Gillard could see the Government challenged on the floor of Parliament, particularly after one crossbench MP, Tony Windsor, signalled he may no longer back Labor, News Ltd reports.

Experts said the potential outcomes range from an immediate dissolution of Parliament and early election, to the September poll being delayed until November.’
    What a shambles! http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif

  8. KG says:

Now, to celebrate I think I’ll take the .243, a couple of cans of beer and go pig hunting in the morning.

  9. left lady says:

    oh, what a joke.
The liberals are just as left as the Rudd gang.
Nothing will change really, and please don’t hunt innocent animals, it is cruel.

    • KG says:

      You’re a slow learner, aren’t you?
No, the liberals are not “just as left as the Rudd gang.”
For starters, they’re not run by the fucking unions, and I’d say at a guess that makes them somewhat less socialist.
As for hunting…mind your own damn business. Almost all the food you consume involves cruelty to some degree, as do the leather shoes you no doubt wear.
And unlike you, I’m not a hypocrite–it may come as a surprise to you, but meat doesn’t come from plastic supermarket bags and what I kill is killed for damn good reasons and as humanely as possible.
In addition, I’m a man. Men hunt and fight and drive too fast and drink beer and enjoy women who look and behave like women.
Now fuck off back to your metrosexual girly man. (or girlfriend, we don’t really give a shit).

  10. KG says:

Perhaps the nick “left lady” isn’t so much an indication of your ideological leanings as a public admission that some man had the good sense to move out on you?

  11. Darin says:

    So,good news all around then?

Also what is this 1951 thing?A political anti-leftard A-bomb?If so how can I help mash the button?

    • Andrew Berwick says:

The constitutional amendment that would have outlawed communism – and by extension, the unions and Lsbor and the greens – that was very narrowly lost by Menzies.

  12. KG says:

‘The 1951 Australian Referendum was held on 22 September 1951 and sought approval for the federal government to ban the Communist Party of Australia. It was not carried.’
    More’s the pity……

  13. KG says:

    Guillotine. Tumbrils. And a bounty.

  14. KG says:

Having some trouble getting used to how flat this .243 shoots. On a running target at any distance I’m giving it too much hold-over and too much lead.

  15. Findalis says:

So when do you get your guns back?

  16. KG says:

If you’re speaking generally, Aussies can still have guns, but with far more restrictions than there used to be.

  17. Ronbo says:

“At long long last Abbott will be able to undo all the damage from Gillard, Keating & Hawke – damage even Howard couldn’t undo. – but Abbott can finish the job Howard started”

Patriots in this country will be watching Australia very closely because this is a REVOLUTIONARY development.

You folks in OZ do understand that the International Socialists will have Australia dead in their gunsights :?:

    • Andrew Berwick says:

And you folks in NZ do not realise Tony Abbott is no John Key!

Hint: how many policies that were too left for Hellen has Key made law?
      Maori flag on Harbour Bridge
      Foreshore & Seabed court cases
      Gay Weddings
      Auckland Rail Loop
      Tax Rises (GST)
      Maori party in government
Massive Maori Settlements – the last big ones were under Douglas Graham, not Labour!
Big pay rises for state sector unionists
Key has repealed none of Hellens nanny state laws – he’s added more and more. Hellen gave Tuhoe the Special Tactics Group
Key gave Tuhoe the entire National Park – 1/50th if the entire North Iskand

Abbott doesn’t stand for any leftist crap whatsoever. I remember him doing a damn fine job stamping out dockyard strikes in the 90s for Howard. He just sent the cops onto the wharves and told em to shoot any strikers or pickets.

Result – Aussie ports up to 5 times more efficient that NZ ports. He’s said ell if the same to the teachers & outright ban unions in the federal civil service.

Abbot is not a leftist like Key – he’s the real deal!http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_scratch.gif

  18. Andrew Berwick says:

The worst PM in Australia’s history. Good riddance.

Nope. Whitlam was much, much worse.

Gillard can still borrow from the Gnomes of Zurich – Whitlam & Chiffely fucked the country over so badly they had to go to dodgy loan sharks….

  19. KG says:

“Nope. Whitlam was much, much worse.”
That’s at least arguable. But Whitlam didn’t play the politics of division as Gillard has, and at least the GG was able (and willing) to sack the bastard.

  20. mawm says:

Just a thought – Who’s going to finish knitting the ‘roo for the royal baby? http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_whistle3.gif

  21. RWT says:

Yet again we have been robbed, the gaggle of verminous roaches that is the ALP shoved a leader down our throats and then when we were looking forward to giving them a piece of our minds, they ran, tails firmly tucked. Typical lefties, never ever around to take any responsibility, no sense of responsibility, duty, integrity, loyalty, decency or shame.

They treat the office of PM as their own personal whore, to be passed around amongst themselves. They deserve to be punished severely for such disgusting and outrageous behavior.

Unfortunately for us, if the opinion polls are anything to go by, enough Australians think it’s just fine to piss all over us and treat us like trash.

Lord i hope my fellow Australians are as disgusted and angry at this mob as I am. We deserve better than this.

  22. MvL says:

“They treat the office of PM as their own personal whore, to be passed around amongst themselves.”…
    Very well put RWThttp://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_good.gif
