NEW FEDERAL CONSUMER AGENCY reportedly wants to monitor US credit card and mortgage transactions through a controversial data-mining program that sounds eerily similar to controversial NSA programs.’

    Government never stops growing, ever. I’m reading Mark Steyn’s After America now and from what he’s saying, the rot set it decades ago and no matter who is president, the nanny state has never stopped growing.

    There is a fair amount of – government they deserve – in America, but I also acknowledge that they don’t have much choice either. If there is a way out for America, they certainly haven’t found it.
