Communities Secretary Eric Pickles said that if global warming is true then the Government’s ‘sustainable aid’ could have an effect on what happens in the UK.
He dismissed the UK Independence Party’s call for foreign aid money to be diverted to help British flood victims as a ‘populist hit’, adding the response in Somerset did not need the extra cash….’
He also complained that the opportunities for him and his cronies to benefit from corruption would be far fewer, should the government stop robbing taxpayers and giving the money to corrupt politicians in other countries.
ok, so I added the last line.

    Foreign aid in some instances can be very useful for western nations, to keep nearby 3rd world dumps from spilling over into your borders.

    However, every western nation definitely needs to review the amount of aid that’s shoveled out versus the supposed benefit. Make the fat sacks of bureaucratic crap fondling the cash justify their existence. In many instances i think we in the west can do with a lot less ‘helping’ of everyone else but ourselves.

    It’s also something Conservatives should shamelessly use to win votes, we all know that under leftie government, foreign aid budgets would balloon, from teaching sex-ed to global warming related nonsense; lefties never run out of ways to spend other peoples money. Learn from the left, never let a disaster go to waste, remind people that they could be helped if only those leftie scumbags would let it happen.

    The other thing is that most of us are flat broke anyway, we can’t afford to keep shoveling our money to some one else who doesn’t vote and probably won’t thank us anyway. Just mouth some platitudes about all cultures are equal, best of luck and well you just get on with it.
