     I’d be interested in more information from you and Ronbo and William, Darin regarding the mood among ordinary people you deal with every day.
     Not gun owners especially, just people going about their everyday business.

       I deal mostly with working class folks and small business owners.To a man they are all tired,everyday it’s one more tax,one more fee,one more hurdle to clear.The cost of everything is going up,you name it and it costs more now than it did last year or the year before.
       The working class black folks are interesting,they still like Obama personally,but readily admit he hasn’t done a dam thing to improve anything for them let alone the nation.A few of them admitted they would have voted for Romney last election,if Romney hadn’t went soft on amnesty.
       Financially I am worried,people are losing their jobs locally.Hours are being cut because of Obamacare,the cost of fuel and utilities is going up.
       A bigger worry is for the first time in 20 odd years working for this company this year is the first time vendors are calling us weekly and asking us if we need any stock.That means their sales are way off which is very bad.

         Oh,I also think there will be at least a hard adjustment in the economy this year.The effects of Obamacare and all the Fed pumping are beginning to telegraph through the economy.

         This is a disturbing trend and it’s not just happening in California.

   The ordinary patriotic people I deal with here in Soviet Seattle aren’t talking much, maybe they are worried about saying something anti-PC and losing their jobs The Leftist crowd is very quiet as well, as they know they backed wrong horse. I haven’t seen an Obama bumper sticker in over a year.

   The nightclubs downtown are doing a good business, but I can’t help to think of the first class section of the Titanic here the booze flowed and the dancers danced as the ship slipped under the waves.

   The overall appearance of the city is pretty good, but then Seattle is a major port city with lots of shipping going in and out, and even a communist city hall seems powerless to reduce us to third world status, try as they might.

   In fact, the only signs of decay is the public bus system which reduced its service despite record numbers of riders.

       You hit the nail on the head, KG – America has become two countries – Red (Progressive) and Blue (Free) – and the boundary lines are drawn in nearly every state.

       Take Washington state for example – western Washington state has all the large cities and is the color Red. Eastern Washington blue state has 80% of the land, but fewer people and is pretty much Republican.
