    Australia:
‘ISLAMIC community leaders and Labor yesterday criticised former army chief Peter Leahy’s provocative warning that Australia should prepare for a 100-year battle with Islamic radicals intent of terrorist attacks.

The defence strategist’s call to arms — which included talk of pre-emptive action — was attacked as inflammatory, divisive and negligent by Muslim leaders in several states.’

Why? Since “moderate” muslims claim radical islamism is nothing to do with them, how can Leahy’s comments possibly be “divisive”?
And “inflammatory”? Inflame who, exactly? “Moderate” muslims again? Or are they suggesting that the head loppers may be moved to slit more throats, crucify more people as a result of his warning?
As for “negligent”……not half as effing negligent as the politicians and bureaucrats who have imported this problem into Australia.
What these pigs are really saying is that we should all shut up and pretend the muslim takeover of the West is’nt happening.

    • rivoniaboy says:

Oh great- disarm the population and then tell them that they should prepare for a 100 year war against Islamic radicals. Hello John Howard. Idiot!

  2. Seneca III says:

What the *&%$ are they doing with the whole of Islam in the back of their truck, KG.
They might at least have sliced it up, rolled it in a bit of bacon fat, Barbied it and forcefully (hopefully terminally) stuffed it down the collective throat of the Australian Labour Party and the ‘Community Leaders?’ or whatever label your socialist traitors and the Jihadi scum they support are hiding behind these days.
Otherwise, neat…any idea how or what they got it with? (had it actually been a Muslim an Humane Killer would not have worked of course, for obvious reasons, but perhaps a wet tampon or a gentle lash with scented goat hairs might just have done the trick)…
…Oh, dear, too many tinnies today, me thinks  off to bed

The NZ Herald reports: An Australian jihadist has tweeted a photo of his young son holding up a severed head of a dead Syrian soldier.

At least the Herald is publishing this kind of information (which makes the jihardists look realllllyy sick).

    It’s a start…

I could never stand the guy anyway. For me, he was about as funny as a cold fish milkshake.

    • Michael in Nelson says:

Not just Australia. Embarassing to say the least.

      National Science Challenges
Deep South Science & Innovation Minister Steven Joyce officially launched the Deep South Challenge at NIWA Wellington last week. The challenge will bring together the best scientists from across New Zealand to work together on transforming the way New Zealanders adapt, manage risk, and thrive in a changing climate.

NIWA is hosting the Deep South Challenge, working with partners including GNS Science, Landcare Research, University of Otago, Victoria University, Antarctica NZ and the NZ Antarctic Research Institute. Funding of $24 million over the next four years will enable the Challenge to focus on issues such as drought, freshwater availability, flooding due to coastal inundation, damaging storm events and changes to mean climate and variability.

      • KG says:

 For $24 million they could conduct some real science.

What amazes me is the number of folks with PhD’s that think they can predict a chaotic system over a long period of time. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_scratch.gif

          • rivoniaboy says:

Michael- there are thousands of PhD’s that can’t even predict what the markets will do tomorrow, let alone next week or next year.I worked with them.
I laugh at their long term models, they are worthless.

  11. Ronbo says:

ROBIN WILLIAM! SUICIDE IS NOT FUNNY!

Whenever Richard Cory went down town,
We people on the pavement looked at him:
He was a gentleman from sole to crown,
    Clean favored, and imperially slim.

And he was always quietly arrayed,
    And he was always human when he talked;
But still he fluttered pulses when he said,
“Good-morning,” and he glittered when he walked.

And he was rich—yes, richer than a king—
And admirably schooled in every grace:
In fine, we thought that he was everything
To make us wish that we were in his place.

So on we worked, and waited for the light,
    And went without the meat, and cursed the bread;
And Richard Cory, one calm summer night,
Went home and put a bullet through his head.

A mate up in Darwin told me the sharp-shooters at the croc farm where he worked just used .22 magnums. He had one scary moment where the monster surfaced right in front him and he thought “I’m f****d”. Bang. .22 to the brain. Sorted. Wow~

    • KG says:

Yep, DonD, a .22 mag will certainly do the job at close range. Seen it.
But that’s under ideal conditions at a croc farm. In the wild, Gecko’s preferred method of a .357 Magnum lever gun is a whole lot safer.

  13. Ronbo says:

BREAKING NEWS IN THE UNITED STATES: COMEDIAN ROBIN WILLIAMS IS STILL DEAD :!:

Geez, the world is on fire and all the Media wants to talk about this morning is a Leftist comedian who hung himself :!:

Did you know the L.A. Media is flying helicopters over the dead guy’s house :?:

    GEEZ :!: WHAT IGNORANCE :!:

  14. KG says:

serve her right. I hate ignorant, selfish people who do this:
‘Mother kicked out of pizzeria for changing 4-month-old daughter’s diaper at her table’
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2721982/Mom-kicked-pizzeria-changing-4-month-old-daughters-diaper-table.html

    • Darin says:

Can’t stand them either, notice the entitlement mentality in action too. It’s her attitude that everyone else should conform to what she wants. She also probably couldn’t leave the other two at the table either because they probably behave in public like they behave at home, like pigs.

Oh,and another thing that pisses me off royal is when one of these moms cunts changes the kid out in the parking lot and then leaves the dirty diaper laying on the ground for someone else to deal with.

    • Ronbo says:

Having lived in Orlando, Florida for much of my life, I could tell you stories about poopy baby diapers abandoned in the parking lot…Must be a cultural Floridian thing, because I have yet to see that in Washington state.

In fact, they even clean up the mess after their dogs.

The Seattle Soviet ain’t all bad.

  15. kg says:

    Too right, Michael. Very sad.
I’m just staggered at the attention the death of a comedian is getting in the media.
WTF???????????????????????? This doesn’t make sense. It looks more like mass hysteria than anything else.

  16. kg says:

I never admired the Lucille Ball style of “comedy”—shouty and manic.

  17. MvL says:

“It looks more like mass hysteria than anything else.”
Well it is really…It’s an obsession of celebrity worship fed to and swallowed by
shallow people by an even shallower media.
It’s sad, but the heroes of our age are entertainers and ball bouncers.
