    Nobody does this stuff better than Americans: Gecko is reading a McCulloch manual at the moment, and she’s amazed at how logical and clear it is.
    I’ve long been a fan of American technical writing and it’s nice to see how good they still are at it.

      It’s not surprising when you think about it – people who have high intelligence and reason based minds staff the high tech fields, while their inferiors with low I.Q. and emotional minds control politics, government and the culture.

      Take a look at any college – the knuckle draggers own the liberal arts, while those men of genius (called “nerds” by the monkeys) have the technical fields all to themselves.

      Perhaps one day a a nerd of genius will decide to rule the world…We can only hope.

        McCulloch,had several of their chainsaws over the years,good units all.Also had one of their weedwackers,also a good machine,except for this one time when I went to crank it.

        The thing had a sheet metal spark arrestor shroud over the muffler.When I yanked the pull rope I managed to hang my index fingernail under the edge of that shroud.Pulled the fingernail completely out.Just one little shred of the quick was left.

        In the next ten minutes I did two things,looked for a clean rag to stop the bleeding and wove a purple tapestry of obscenity that still hangs over Ceasar,Ms till this day :mrgreen:

        Luckily I was much younger and the nail grew back completely over the next few months.That was a good weed wacker though,made when things could be fixed,ran it for many years till the cylinder scored.

        That didn’t stop me though,took the jug off,bored it oversized and shrink fitted a piece of chrome moly tubing in the bore.Whittled and ground the ports with a die grinder and honed the cylinder.Rolled up a little ball of paraffin wax and stuck it to the top of the piston,slipped the jug back on,cranked it through one revolution.Took it back apart,retrieved the wax,measured it to be .049″ thick.Did a quick mental coefficient of expansion estimate for Aluminum and ended up machining .046″ off the jug mounting flange.That boosted the compression a bit and left me with a .002″ running piston to head clearance.

        Ran it a few more years until the drive cable was worn out and no new replacements could be had.Gave it to a Vietnamese friend who straight shafted it into a Go-devil for his fishing boat.Think he’s still running it. :smile:

      I wouldn’t be surprised if a foreign legion of anti-Islamist volunteers, private security companies and black ops under heavy cover from the West become the answer to the Johnny Jihad.

      After all, as the Jihadists have taught the West in so many bloody lessons that non-state actors have an advantage over nations and armies; for instance, a gang of Dutch bikers can kill, loot, burn and generally raise Hell with ISIS without the Left yelling about “not following the Geneva Convention.”

        Yup,and the watermelons have been after Sierra Pacific since the time of Clinton and his single handed near destruction of the timber industry in the PNW.

        I would like to see where and to whom that settlement money and real estate went,I’m betting to some large environmental groups split up the loot.

    I have a degree in chemistry and have always loved it (and the other sciences too). The elegance and beauty. The magic of combining a couple of compounds, adding heat and ending up with something new.

      If only schoolkids could be turned on to the beauty of it, Tranquil, a whole lot more of them might explore it further.
      But so many chemistry teachers manage to make the subject as dry as dust, which is a pity.

      Truth is the left sees nothing wrong with child sex aka pedophilia.It would not surprise me one bit if it were found out that the local authorities were not only complicent with child rape and sex grooming but were also actively involved.We have seen where they are involved with prostitution, along with drug and weapons trafficking so why not pedophilia?

      And I still ask do these girls have fathers and if so where the hell are they at?I realise they lack guns in the UK,but FFS clubs,rocks and power tools exist.Diesel and road flares are easy to come by as well.

      To the Men of Britain-Logic tells me that if these Paki perverts started turning up beaten to death and dismembered in the local landfill they might at least think twice before fooling with anyones kids.The same treatment might spur action from the local council and constables for that matter.Talk of justice is bull shit,it’s well past that,it’s time for blood soaked vengeance,get your balls back from your women and wake up you dumb bastards! :evil: .
