‘More than 1,000 soldiers have been deployed on the streets of France for Christmas after a spate of suspected festive-season terrorist attacks across the nation have left many French citizens critical of the government’s denialism, and fearful of increasing violence.
The move stands in contrast to the official line of the French government that the attacks, in which the assailants were reported in all cases to have shouted the Arabic salutation “Allahu Akbar” as they commenced their rampages, had nothing to do with terrorism, and were completely unrelated. The government has come under fire from opposition parties for its denial of a terrorism link, with French social media users reportedly cheering on the straight-talking rejection by the Front National (FN)…’
One would be tempted to indulge in some schadenfreude – except for the near-certainty that our turn will come, unless people wake up.

    Soldiers on the street. Is their mere presence supposed to deter those who have their hearts set upon evil? What are their orders? Shoot immediately they hear the cry of “Allah Snackbar”? Shoot every moslem they find?

    You’re right, KG, this smacks of a token gesture to quell the heaving masses. For, unless they’ve been given very clear RoE, they’re nothing more than 1,000 Lee Rigbys just waiting to happen. Grist for the mill, to be sacrificed on the “Nothing To Do With iSlam” alter.

    I suspect you’ll find an article come out following the death of the first soldier that their weapons are either (a) unloaded, or (b) loaded with blanks.

    Perhaps that guy in Queensland currently being vilified and abused for writing – sorry no muslims – on his menu list was just worried about his car(s) and home being burned down.

    Any one of the whiny and sanctimonious prats down in Sydney rolling out a #illride/walkwithyou for the french scared of being mowed down, stabbed, raped and/or beaten, yeah I thought so.

    Much of the western world will only learn when it’s their car being burned down, when they’re being passed around the mujahid, when it’s their teeth being kicked out, when they’re told to @#$% off kaffir when they’re strolling down the wrong street. Even then I have my doubts, many seem hellbent on being someone’s bitch.
