My wife and I are contemplating seeking another Church to replace our current Presbyterian one after yesterday’s appalling service which could have passed for a socialist benefit. A song about saving whales and other faiths, sermon by a woman who had no idea what she was meant to be talking about and prayers looking for govts to redistribute wealth through taxes. Everything that was once good seems increasingly hijacked by leftie doctrine. Its like a virus.

Brown, I left the Anglican Church 22 years ago when I moved towns and went to join the local. They insisted on having a meeting with us and their accountant came along. First thing on the agenda – how much money could we give for redistribution. First Sunday mass – three hours as a captive audience while the “choir”, dressed to a T in church finery, from the community for whom all the money was earmarked danced and sang and begged for more money. No mention ever about our religious needs.
Anyway none of this matters. Christianity has become a philosophy by which I can lead my life. I don’t need the church to tell me what to do.

The Presbyterians and Methodists with their homosexual ministers, the Catholics (and Prebyterians, Methodists, and others) with their Marxist indoctrination, are dying – and quickly. If the Church is to be saved, it will be saved by thinking small. Local congregations active in their local communities and supporting missionaries abroad, not beholden to – and not paying protection money to – far-away hierarchies.
