Democracy

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in
St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning
The last Presidential election:

Number of States won by:         Obama: 19               Romney: 29
Square miles of land won by:    Obama: 580,000      Romney: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Obama: 127 million  Romney: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by:
Obama: 13.2             Romney: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: “In aggregate, the map of the territory
Romney won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country.

Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low
Income tenements and living off various forms of government
Welfare…”
Ain’t the universal franchise a wonderful thing?

  1. Andrew Berwick says:

Just goes to show the current method of chusing senators and allocating electoral votes is wrong (and unconstitutional). Simply going to FPP in each state, so the winner of the most districts or counties in that state elected the Senator, or received that state’s electoral votes, would solve this problem – and prevent any more D’RATS being “elected”.

  2. Michael in Nelson says:

And HBSC wants to make voting mandatory. I wonder why? http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_scratch.gif

    (sarc off)

My socialist friend thinks that people would all be nice if they just had a job.

    • KG says:

Well, I guess people with jobs may be nicer on the whole, because they seem to be happier.
But “all” would be nice is stretching it a bit!

  4. Wombat says:

There was a time in recent memory when I came to this place and got on my high horse about “one man, on vote”. The reference was to the fall of apartheid.

Now, I still don’t believe voting should be determined by anything as base as a person’s race, but I fully retract my assertion that voting should be for everyone.

Truly I have come to see
Our nation ere be like a tree
Neglected we to prune the rot
And now we stand to lose the lot.

    • Wombat says:

As for those statistics above, it paints a clear case for secession and/or civil war.

      • Ronbo says:

        @Wombat:

        Right you are :!:

The Democommies have a “lock” on the Electoral College as explained here:

        http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2015/03/democrats_for_a_dictatorial_presidency.html

….and they have long discovered the means by which they can control the “Blue States”….

Therefore, with the Obama presidency we also see the rise the Imperial President in peace time. Yes, in times of declared war, the president became dictator, but never before in peacetime.

This is America’s fateful Rubicon, and unless we patriots rise in bloody civil war and execute the dictator and all his stooges, the table is set for an elective dictatorship that will soon evolve into “President For Life.”

I am hopeful for civil war and a blood purge of traitors, but history teaches us that sometimes a good republic falls to the evil empire without a shot being fired – Germany in 1933/34 is a classic example.
