On the man convicted of  racial abuse:

    At work I’ve had ‘discussions’ about the bus incident and every single time I’ve shot people down saying “So, Islam’s a race? No it isn’t – it’s a belief system. The man may have been irreligious but he was not racist, get the terminology correct.”

    Dumb blank looks greeted me and then the invariably enfeebled reply:

    “Well, we didn’t hear everything that went on!”

    Bunch of schmucks, the verbal exchanges were recorded – they’ll be the first ones to go willingly to their deaths.

        I would *love* to have been the one charged in this case.

        I would have made *mincemeat* of the prosecution’s claim of “racism”. Not only that but I would have taken the opportunity to have Islam defined as exactly what it is – an *ideology*.

        That guy on the bus was guilty of *nothing* other than expressing his hatred for the most evil ideology in the world.
        He deserves a medal, not a court case.

          You would have lost the Court case (protected species, and all), but it would have been a fun exercise introducing the various verses and sura from their Book of Death in support of your positions!

    I am genuinely amazed at the restraint and self-sacrifice displayed by our respective nations servicemen and women.

    The fact that with all they do and all the miserable,limp dicked, nonsensical rules they must follow. That they haven’t gone ape shit and just killed the bastard civilian leadership and the chair force responsible for it demonstrates what remarkable men and women of character they are.
