True KG!! We went looking for houses in West Harbour and Greenhithe over the weekend. The ridiculous prices left us feeling sick. Every open home in West Harbour was attended by a heap of orientals…..I think it is not only a supply issue but allowing foreigners to chase up the prices……
What the hell do we do? http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_wacko.gif

      Land reform act 2015.

Henceforth all dwellings acquired must be primarily occupied by their owner(s). All dwellings bought and sold henceforth that are not so occupied for a period greater than three months must go to auction. No reserve price may be allowed.
Per month the owner is in violation of this law they shall be penalised 10 percent of the final auction price. At such time this penalty reaches 100 percent the property is forfeited, then to be auctioned.

It’s the same where I live, just north of London, good road and rail connections, green belt nearby, quaint market cathedral city, and above all posh. I thank The Lord for my father choosing to live here in 1950. One and a half houses here means that I am comfortable. Actually, it’s worse in Auckland, much worse because you’ve got so much land to play with. Could it be that the Green fringe is interfering in development?

I don’t know what the answer to this is. But I do know that using massive immigration to prop up the economy and disguise structural weaknesses is causing major problems. And it won’t end well.

Had a moving experience this morning KG. I am in Washington DC and visited the National Archives. There I saw the original copies of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. I know there are a serious issues with the riots and protests but I have been treated with courtesy and many have gone out of their way to lend a hand and the helpers were mostly blacks.

On another uplifting note, I saw thousands of people going through the museums and monuments today, many of the visitors were school groups too. Knowledge of US History, traditions and freedom is still being absorbed.

      Thanks, Michael.

Forgot to mention, I also saw the US Flag that flew over Ft. McHenry in September 1814 that inspired Francis Scott Key to pen the Star Spangled Banner

So the real clue here is,just who is buying these bonds?Surely a bond that costs the investor money would be regarded as radioactive? The only answer is governments are propping up each others debt just like they were in 2007,only this time the debt bubble is much larger.

          Don’t forget the meds.

Three days ago I got bitten by a leech.
Two days ago I was at the doctors with a serious infection.
          Today I’m on the mend.

Considering that the infection was doubling in size every 6 hours I can only imagine how things would have turned out without a ready supply of antibiotics.

Amoxycillin, even the kind for fish from the pet store, is a better option than becoming an amputee. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_wacko.gif

            Honey is a good standby.

            • Wombat says:

Gave it a shot but it was too far gone by then.

The problem is that the bite doesn’t present a traditional “open wound” like most infections you’d encounter on the farm. It’s like having the offending bug injected into you with a needle.

If it’s open then Garlic works too, though it stings for ten minutes before it burns.

                Doxycycline is another handy antibiotic.

Moron Kathy Marks gets it totally, ass-about-face wrong in the Kiwi media (and is either ignorant or dishonest at the same time) :

I think it’s both,I saw the tweets in question and the man obviously was out of his depth at a minimum or at worst was engaging in gross moral equivalence.

At any rate he said something that pissed off a great number of his employer’s customers and one must always remember being employed is the same as being a subject in a dictatorship.

Oh,it turns out it was all the fault of lead paint-

So his mother never learned to read, never held a job and was a Heroin addict. She had no money and no job, gee, wonder how she managed to afford Heroin? The oldest profession?None of that had anything to do with her son knocking back 20 prior arrests though,it was all lead paint’s fault.
