An interesting little nugget from a post over at Liberty’s Torch:
‘ ..The mean intelligence of blacks is much lower than for whites. The least intelligent ten percent of whites have IQs below 81; forty percent of blacks have IQs that low. Only one black in six is more intelligent than the average white; five whites out of six are more intelligent than the average black. These differences show in every test of general cognitive ability that anyone, of any race or nationality, has yet been able to devise.’

    • mawm says:

It is something that has been hidden for years, or explained away by saying IQ testing is Eurocentric…………..funny how Orientals having a higher IQ than Europeans is no longer due to IQ testing being Eurocentric. Just saying….

    • Robertv says:

That’s why the best thing would be that all the Black Africans go to Europe and all white Europeans to Africa. Europe would be in ruins and the new Africanes the wealthiest people of the world.

      • Robertv says:

Even better if the progressives would stay in Europe too.

            • Darin says:

That swap would actually force blacks to evolve or die.Winter is thought to have had more influence on both European and Asian development than any other factor. When you only have five or six months of decent weather to get crops in and harvested, homes built, livestock bred and firewood stockpiled for winter, you tend to think of a faster way to get things done. Not so much below the Equator.

      @KG:

Absolutely correct and I speak as one who has been around American blacks all my life…they just aren’t very bright….Low I.Q.s and very child like even as grown adult men and women- Very emotional and always potentially violent and dangerous around whites – anti white racists to core – If as a white you have a personal problem with a black person, because, for example, he’s acting out some childish drama, he will immediately think, “Whitey doesn’t like me because I’m Black.”

With the Left, the issue is never the issue, but the revolution.

With the blacks the issue is never the issue if it involves a white person, it’s because the “Cracker” is down on black people.

Way off topic for this blog… Repowering a yacht is not for the faint-hearted. The old engine is out and sold, the engine bay has been cleaned of 20+ years of oil, grease and whatever and painted, a new dripless shaft seal has been fitted along with a flexible coupling (never had one before) and the new engine in. The fuel tank has also been removed and cleaned and the bilge pumps upgraded and properly plumbed. Only the unskilled work was done by me – but not without a some physical toll!
I hope that this gives me a problem free engine and gearbox for the next 10+ years. Roll on retirement!

    • KG says:

Excellent lower back exercise. :) What brand of engine, Mawm?

Beta – the English marination of the Kubota. Probably more bullet-proof than the others.

          “Marinisation” of course

        • KG says:

I’ve always like Kubota and Yanmar engines for small boats.
Reliable, plenty of spares and they’re easy to work on.

          • mawm says:

I looked at the Yanmar but too many people are having problems with theirs. Also they are using “pressed” fittings instead of properly threaded bits which are coming adrift. Generally Beta owners seem to be happier. Also spares are cheaper for Beta and more widely available – just any old tractor dealer. The old guy doing the “skilled” work is a Yanmar agent but was happy to help with the Beta. Also a couple of grand cheaper!

            • Darin says:

Kubota is much more reliable in my opinion than Yanmar. With literally millions of tractors,GPU’s and construction machines powered by Kubota it’s hard to go wrong with them.

It has been happening for some time – just the speed is picking up. Take a look at the buying power of your dollar and how it has fallen over the last decades, or the price of shares continuing to climb disproportionally to the earnings, or the price of housing, etc, etc. AND this has all been done deliberately by governments to inflate their tax take to cover their exorbitant and wasteful spending used as bribes to keep them in power. Nowadays they are not even pretending to try to balance a budget so their next step will be total monetary control. Buy gold and hide it.

      • KG says:

Spent an hour today talking with a 94 year old man who sailed as a machinist 2nd class on Liberty ships during WWII.We talked about his time shipboard and the boats themselves.
He said his first time onboard he was wandering the engine room and noticed these two big steel racks near each boiler that had what looked like big iron C-clamps on them.He asked the first engineer what they were for and the engineer told him those were clamps to lock off the safeties so they could make more speed.Seems the normal top speed of a Liberty was 10-12 knots, but in an area with known U-boat activity they would lock down the safety valves and run the stack blowers full up.Doing that they could red line the boilers and squeeze another 3-4 knots out of the engines. While this was going on only the fireman and the first engineer where in the engine room while everybody else were up on deck. That way if a boiler cut loose and exploded they only lost the two men below decks.

My boss also sailed on a Liberty on his way from NY to Hamburg before his freshman year at college(1954).He was going to buy his passage over, but his 1st generation German American mother would not hear of such a frivolous waste of money,so she told him to hit the wharf and every merchant seamen’s hall down there until he landed a job on a boat headed to Hamburg. He did and walked on as an Oiler on a Liberty. He said the worst thing about the job was oiling the crossheads on the engines. There were no thermos and no oil lines, you had to time the crank throw as it went round, reach all the way in with half your body between the engine webs and feel the bearing caps with your fingers to see of they were hot and then pull yourself back out before the crank came round again and killed you.If it was hot you had to do the same thing, but with an oil can.If that wasn’t bad enough in rough seas the prop would occasionally come out the water and the engine would momentarily speed up.
Needless to say there was no OSHA or H&S in those days.

A letter to The Australian newspaper’s subscription department, just now:
‘Are you people a bunch of thieves, or simply mind-bogglingly incompetent? On checking my bank account, I see that ANOTHER $24 has been taken out for the Australian.

How many fucking times do I have to tell you?

Foul mouthed? Abusive? Yes indeed. I tend to have that response to thievery and/or incompetence.

The pity of it is, The Australian is a fine newspaper. It’s a miracle it’s still operating though, given the level of stupidity of the back-office staff.

$24 was taken out of my bank on April 8th and another $24 on May 5th. Yet below you say my subscription was cancelled in March and that I have not resubscribed since!

I’d like to wish you a pleasant day, but we both know I wish you no such thing. I hope your day is as frustrating and infuriating as you’ve made more than a few of mine.
