Tennessee gives Feds the finger.

On April 30, Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam (R) signed Senate Bill 1110—a bill which bars state cooperation with federal gun control laws.

Sponsored by Senator Richard Briggs (R-Dist. 7), SB 1110 “prohibits the use of any public funds, personnel, or property to enforce any federal law or regulation that regulates the ownership, use, or possession of firearms, ammunition, or firearms accessories.”

SB 1110 passed the house by a margin of 74 to 20 and the senate by a margin of 24 to 1.

The New Confederacy is taking shape in the Heartland, Southwest, Old Dixie and the Mountain states way out west like Montana.

The center of the American Resistance Movement (ARM – the military force of The Tea Party) is Texas…and as a betting man I’d put my money on Texas leaving the Union first, playing the role South Carolina in CW I and upwards of 34 states leaving with her.

This would isolate the Left in the Northeast, Midwest and the Pacific states.

Of course, in all these states exists a considerable patriot force in friendly counties. For instance, Washington state has the Republican countries of eastern Washington; whereas, western Washington that is centered in the cities on Puget Sound are hardcore Leftist.

I’d very VERY much like to see some credible wargaming of the secession/consequent civil war scenario.
Does anyone know of such? (and I don’t include the articles in Western Rifle Shooters in that category)

My first question is “where are the nukes?”

I think we’re all quite aware of the tantrums the globalists will throw when their plans start to unravel.

        • KG says:

I’m not at all worried that it would come to nukes, Wombat. Except perhaps for a one-off “accident” to convey a message to dissidents.
But in any case, any serious movement against the Feds would need to have some insurance at hand.
And it seems to me that the best insurance would be something along the lines of Ebola 4.0 stashed in sensitive, bureaucrat and politician-rich locations, the means to disperse it rapidly and the cast iron resolve to do so should the Feds cross designated red lines.
          And publicise that resolve.
Not that I regard this necessarily as a good example of the kind of insurance needed. There are plenty of others though.

          • Wombat says:

Ebola would be a bad idea IMHO.

Once that cat is out of the bag and finds its legs then it’s going to be a very bad decade for the entire world.

What I mean by the question about the nukes was that a separation could go smoothly if both sides ended up with the capacity for mutually assured destruction.

Of course, if the military galvanizes on either side of the fence rather than somewhere in the middle then it goes without saying that the team who finds itself without the support of its professional soldier class is going to be shit out of luck.

I predict that if the .mil sides with DC then we’re in for a long and bloody insurrection. If the .mil sides with the secessionists then I suspect that DC will fold under its own weight and the secessionists will take it to avoid it being captured by other forces.

If the .mil simply return to their states of origin then I don’t forsee any of them being too keen to try and force an unwanted reunion.

              See above:
“Not that I regard this necessarily as a good example of the kind of insurance needed. There are plenty of others though.”
The point being that the threat would need to be serious and credible.
A MAD doctrine – involving nukes on domestic soil – isn’t. There are psychological barriers (which almost never seem to be considered) to their use.
And resolve is not easily demonstrable, whereas it certainly is with a CBW agent.

              • Wombat says:

Don’t get me wrong. I see your point, but an effective standoff tool has to be something you can disable when the enemy capitulates or otherwise backs down.

Most likely one of the biggest bargaining chip will be the power grid.

In modern America the capacity to shut off the power is akin to the hand of God.

In regards to CW II and the nukes…

The ICBM Minuteman III force is based in Heartland Republican states…

Ditto The command and control center in Colorado.

The seaborne nukes are placed aboard “Boomer” submarines stationed all over the world.

Airborne nukes? Mostly in Red States…

I agree with KG – I doubt the ICBMs would be used on American real estate – but you never know what the Left would do when the battle turns against them – and it will – they simply don’t have boots on the ground the patriot side can muster.

In a little side note to the discussion of CW II – last night I got to talk with several members of the SPD during the Leftist/Anti-White Racist occupation of a busy intersection last night – and they were quite open in their support of the patriot faction and admitted to being a member of the “Oath Keepers” an organization of military and law enforcement officers who will refuse to open fire on their fellow countrymen, etc. in case of an insurrection by patriots.

One ranking officer said in public he thought Obama was the American dictator – and that the first order of business for patriots would be to crush the Left in the country.
