Sweden, leading the way into Europe’s new dark age:

‘Elderly Residents Evicted to Make Way for Asylum Seekers
…Sweden is, per capita, the largest importer of asylum seekers in Europe, with 8,365 asylum applications per million citizens in 2014, compared to just 494 in the United Kingdom. Breitbart London reported earlier this week on the extraordinary lengths the Swedish government was going to, to make even returning Jihadists from the conflicts in Syria and Iraq feel welcome. Terrorists will be given free psychological help with traumatic experiences in warzones they volunteered to join, and will be rewarded with job offers upon returning so they don’t “feel alienated” in Swedish society…’

  1. KG says:

The endpoint of socialism is always totalitarianism.

  2. Brown says:

Maybe so but I can’t work out why ordinary people are sucked into this nonsense in the first place and some will defend it as sensible in the face of it clearly being otherwise. Are they mad and if so how did such lunacy come about? Did God get sick of them flipping him the bird and simply let them alone to indulge their fantasies?

    • KG says:

      Dunno, Brown. It’s a mystery.
Maybe some people are driven purely by emotions, not a mixture of emotion and logic?

      • k2 says:

Socialism is like a computer virus for the democracy operating system. You can always get people to vote for you if you pay them but you can’t be up front obvious about it because the culture won’t accept blatant corruption – at least until a majority are on the gravy train. Subsequently, like any successful virus it avoids the body’s natural immune system (the culture) by emulating part of the body’s functioning systems. In socialism’s case, it pretends to be a kind of scientific Christianity which helps the poor. The “scientific” part appeals to the academics who can’t understand a non linear chaotic system like capitalism and prefer something they can write papers about to make tenure. The academics pass along the infection to the students who then make the new culture. So far, the most historically successful treatment of socialism is to allow the social body to die economically. A non optimum treatment, I’m thinking.

What I find these days is that reflexive emotions are lauded as opinions…it saves thinking I suppose and tosses up chaff for the msm.

  3. Wombat says:

Like all totalitarianism, it’s driven by narcissistic megalomaniacs who believe themselves to be a class above the producers.

Some are benevolently motivated. Some are just bastards. All are enemies.

At best they should be diagnosed with a mental illness and medicated appropriately for the good of society.

  4. mara says:

The Nordic countries are rapidly being ruined by their social policies but the MSM cannot bear to admit it. Sweden is at the top of the list. Their Islamist immigration policy will quickly destroy them. But who is listening?

    • KG says:

A great many Swedes are listening, Mara, but they’re powerless to do a damn thing about it.
      ‘Swedish democracy’ is an oxymoron.

  5. mara says:

    How so KG? Voters vote.

    • KG says:

They do, Mara. But the leftist and so-called “centrist” parties have formed an unofficial alliance which makes it impossible for conservatives to win power.
I’ll look for the article I had on it and put it up here if I can find it.

      • tranquil says:

Yep. The bastards have ganged up on and frozen out the only voice of sanity in Sweden – the Swedish Democrats.

        • Wombat says:

In times gone by the productive members of society were always a majority and they voted as such. They had a basic grasp of what does and does not work because they had to live to a bottom line and could not simply blame others for their failures and wait for a handout.

In a way we can blame technology for our predicament. Now, technology has reduced the number of people required to almost anything. Production, however, has increased many times over.

The result is the forced creation of the bureacratic and welfare classes. The make-work and don’t-work sectors.

And of course, they vote, don’t they.

So there you have it. Democracy cannot hold.

A massive die off is in the making. The question we have to ask ourselves as the productive class is, will we unite and be the victors, or will we allow the powerbrokers to choose when we get tossed in the cattle car.

    • KG says:

      Yes! Thank you, G P. :)

‘..But then something remarkable occurred: The two major blocs compromised not only on the current budget, but also on future budgets and power-sharing all the way to 2022. The left and “right” alliances worked out trade-offs so that elections need not take place in March, allowing the Left to rule until 2018, with the “Right” possibly taking over from 2018 until 2022. Not only does this political cartel deprive SD of its pivotal role but, short of winning a majority of parliamentary seats in 2018, it has no meaningful legislative role for the next eight years, during which time the immigration issue is off the table.

This is nothing short of astonishing: To stifle debate over the country’s most contentious issue, 86 percent of the parliament joined forces to marginalize the 14 percent that disagrees.’

If there were ever a country that needed a full-on revolution it is Sweden.

        It’ll never happen (unfortunately).

        • Ronbo says:

          Never say never…

In 1975 while a member of Army Intelligence in Berlin, I was part of an after hours group of NCOs and Junior Officers who made a study of the many weaknesses of the former Soviet Union – and after careful consideration and by majority vote, we Russian specialists concluded that Communism would fail before 2001.

The Berlin Brigade staff went wild because our prediction went against U.S. Army doctrine that said the USSR was good to go well into 21st century…

…and then they went into orbit when The Wall Street Journal printed our study and cited “Anonymous Sources Inside Military Intelligence.”

So along with 40 other sergeants and junior officers, I received a nasty letter that was placed in my 201 File from the Commanding General of Berlin Brigade for “for unprofessional actions outside the chain of command.”

BTW, the Soviet Union officially collapsed on Dec, 31, 1991…

          Never say never…

Revolution in Sweden like a revolution in America like a Global Revolution is in the realm of possibility…In 1975 the Soviet Union looked like a giant that would last forever, but few noticed the giant had feet of clay…
