Gloriavale: Why the witch-hunt?

This kind of coverage has been going on for weeks now. Is it because Gloriavale is a Christian community? I’ve certainly never seen any other community or organization in NZ  persistently targeted in this way.
And this:
‘The Department of Internal Affairs confirmed late last week it was investigating Gloriavale’s charity status.’
I don’t recall the Department investigating any of the numerous Maori organizations that enjoy tax-exempt status.
Something smells here, because this is a concerted attack by the media.

UPDATE: Take a look. And this is just the NZ Herald!

Here’s the problem right here, from their website

    Who are we?
    Grow in faith
    Keep out of debt
    Exhort one another daily
    Bear each others’ burdens
    Care for one another equally
Share our abilities for the benefit of all
Provide properly for all our large families
Support our widows and fatherless children
Channel funds and resources to the poor and needy

See that sort of belief system is now considered perversion. What’s worse all of their children were born in wedlock to heterosexual married couples(that’s one man and one woman for you folks in San Fransicko) and none, not one of those kids has green hair, five pounds of scrap metal hanging from their appendages or wears a long sleeved shirt to cover the needle tracks and satanic tattoos on their arms. Obviously these are some sick folk and must be investigated.

So far as welfare benefits, well they didn’t come by them “honestly”.Nope, they aren’t racially entitled, not from an ethnic group that has been “disenfranchised” or members of a 7th century third world death cult hell bent on grooming teenaged girls for sex slaves while selling them to the highest bidder out the back of the hotels and convenience stores given them by taxpayer.
If they own any businesses they also don’t peddle Heroin and meth while using the business to launder the money before shipping it off and using it to fund terror worldwide.

Oh no,make no mistake these people must be stamped out.

Thanks guys, what really set me off was the caption under the picture in that article-

“Gloriavale is like Christian communities elsewhere in the world – a male-dominated mix of good intentions and flawed beliefs.”

In the first place in most every community on Earth Christian or not it is men who produce most everything, why shouldn’t we “dominate”?

Mix of good intentions and flawed beliefs? That perfectly describes leftist liberal SOP the world over. They have lit the curtains on fire and now are shocked the house is burning down and that some would rather be apart from the mess the left made.

And finally Insult a Christian and he will pray for you, insult a muslim and he’ll lop your head off. That my friends is why the leftist media will never criticize the muslims, they don’t have the balls.Much safer to jump on Christians.

And that is why any time the muzzies kill a journo, my reaction is a shrug and a yawn. It’s merely a squabble among rats.

In a free country, supposedly, it is none of the hard leftie media’s business. But they just can’t help themselves. Just read that 4th of July celebrations have been banned, so a certain minority group arn’t ‘offended’. This world is custard.

If they want to live like the Amish but are free to leave at any time then fine.

I think the community has been tarnished by Neville Cooper’s offences. Brian Tamaki is a past expert at raiding the collection plate and the Catholic church has lost scores of adherents because paedophiles were shunted from parish to parish instead of being prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I saw a documentary where this family man used to beat the shit out of his wife because of the shame he felt from being sodomised as a young boy and thought he might be gay – the damage lingers on.

No organisation can hold itself up as moral beacon when there is a suppurating sore just beneath the surface. Any leader must be above reproach.

“No organisation can hold itself up as moral beacon when there is a suppurating sore just beneath the surface. Any leader must be above reproach.”
    Fair enough.
Now let’s watch the media apply that principle to the three major political parties in NZ.
Also, we read stories about pedophile teachers, for example, yet nobody suggests that all teachers are tarnished by those few.
The point being, of course, that this campaign demonstrates very selective outrage and downright hypocrisy.
