WTF!

Screen Shot 2015-08-20 at 7.15.55 PM I just went into Uncle Mike’s gun parts, a U.S. site, looking for a front sling swivel for a Marlin .357 Magnum 1894C and yep, sure enough, they have the part.  Small enough to fit into a quarter of an envelope, right?  Now look at the shipping cost!
Needless to say, Wabbit declined to continue.

The same thing happens on ebay. USA based sellers have huge freight costs usually. Amazon however can freight stuff here to the edge of the desert in WA for very little and usually get it here faster than many eastern states ( of Australia) sellers.
Get the parts sent to a USA based address and then have them forwarded by that person. We get my stepson to do this whenever it is needed.

I have free delivery by Amazon,,,well…the small price of $100 a year – but hey! They throw in free streaming movies and music.

I buy lots of stuff off Amazon just because of the free shipping which usually puts them on par or lower than their compitition.

“Are there any items that cannot be shipped?

There are some items that are restricted and cannot be shipped with any carrier. This includes:

Firearms parts, gun parts, scope, red dot sight, reflex sight, ammunition etc.”

You can bet they’re pretty cluey as to who the major vendors are, ie Brownells, Cheaperthandirt etc.
