”President Obama may have gone too far by packing the Pope’s receiving line with a coterie of public dissenters from Catholic doctrine to greet him at the White House during his U.S. visit next week. Though the Pope generally bends over backwards to be tolerant of such things, on Friday the Vatican expressed its deep displeasure with the tactless gesture.
In a remarkable show of political impropriety, the White House invited a series of individuals who publicly thumb their noses at Catholic teaching to attend the papal reception, including a pro-abortion religious sister, a transgender woman, and the first openly gay Episcopal bishop, along with at least two Catholic gay activists.
After Breitbart publicized the discordant tone of the Obama guest list, the Holy See reacted by expressing its disapproval, noting its concern that any photos of the pope with these guests at the White House ceremony might be misconstrued as a validation of their activities, The Wall Street Journal reported…’
But he’s very careful to avoid offending muslims. Connect the dots.

    If the Pope had any balls and just a modicum of respect for his Church he’d tell Obama to fuck off. (Excuse the language but the two of them they are doing their level best to destroy the Christian Church and the Western Judeo-Christian heritage).

        Obama finally got the job done installing gay marriage as a new cultural norm in America and this meeting was just to rub the pope’s nose in it.Not that I care about this pope,he is part of the problem and not any sort of solution,this whole thing is about Obama and his fellow queers doing what they do best – being arseholes.

The Pope is coming to the US to finger wag about opening the border to his coreligionists to increase his take of the swag.     But to reiterate a line from elsewhere, would it make any difference if he were a Muslim?

    For the purpose of this comment let us take him at his word that he is a Christian.*
    But let us also consider his actions and achievements whilst in office as POTUS. And then let us ask “IF he were a Muslim, how would he have acted differently in any of the actions and achievements noted above?”

    You must be careful about accusing the RC church of being Christian. Many would debate that with a sound theological argument and one of the great martyrs went so far as to call a pope of the time the anti-christ. It was nice to see on the news that Trump didn’t correct a bloke who called Obama a Muslim at a rally.

    The left have always lacked class, that’s what the class war is about. They want us all to be ill mannered, ignorant animals. The best humanity has to offer is despised, the worst is held high as an example to our children. I cannot comment about the Roman Church because I am a Christian, so know little of the doings of the Vatican.

      I have a similar, but slightly different taken, andy.

      They don’t necessarily *want* us to be ill-mannered, ignorant animals, but they certainly see us that way. And they see themselves as higher-evolved beings, who must magnanimously care for we, the lesser. They see the best of us as no more than statistical anomalies. As such they don’t understand and must destroy.

        I have to disagree, Gantt – the top wolves of the Left running the show know EXACTLY who we are – the independent creatures of superior intelligence, reason, honesty, talent, organization, vision, drive, etc. – whereas, the Left are essentially a band of low life criminals who can’t make it without an organization and an affirmative action program that rewards robotic obedience to their Godfather.

        Therefore, when the Left seeks to destroy it’s really a backhanded acknowledgement that you are a superior being they loathe and fear like a cowardly wolf pack hunting a heroic fighting dog…only in numbers can the stinking wolves win.

        Put simply, Gantt, the Left hates you and wants to destroy you because of your virtues – not your vices.

        The Evil always hates The Good for being The Good.
