     Oswald: It’s not that I think you don’t know what I’m about to say that I’m saying it. I recommend it as boiler plate that should accompany all such clips to help undo the damage its authors intended.

     This segment was designed to undermine the very statements the lead character makes because the lead character (“The American Dad”) has been made into a buffoon in all that preceded the statement and everything that follows. Guilt by association is transferred to anyone else who repeats the common sense stated by the character.

     It’s not that the Left is unfamiliar with the truth, it’s that they are very familiar with it and do their damnedest to discredit it.
