‘…It is safe to predict that when 20,000 world leaders, officials, green activists and hangers-on convene in Paris next week for the 21st United Nations climate conference, one person you will not see much quoted is Professor Judith Curry. This is a pity. Her record of peer-reviewed publication in the best climate-science journals is second to none, and in America she has become a public intellectual. But on this side of the Atlantic, apparently, she is too ‘challenging’. What is troubling about her pariah status is that her trenchant critique of the supposed consensus on global warming is not derived from warped ideology, let alone funding by fossil-fuel firms, but from solid data and analysis…’

    This is where we are going wrong, by shutting down dissent and debate we are shutting down science. Once upon a time we were taught that proper science is where someone does an experiment and gets result “x”, that scientist then repeats that experiment until result x is repeatable. Others do the same experiment, introducing variables. Progress is made. Right now, we are not making progress, we are going back to some prehistoric priesthood which got the villages’ virgins by predicting salmon runs or summat. As Bliar said; ” edgicashun, edjukashun, edgeyoucajun”. Tony, it worked. We are dumber than ever before in history. It’s not just you, its the whole fucking crazy cabal of fat controllers. I mean, what’s this with Bilal Erdogan getting his shipments of ISIS oil shot up by Vlad the Bad? He gets on the horn to daddy and gets a Russian fighter shot down. Illegally. Turkey is in NATO. WTF? They are showing that they are advanced enough to get into the EUSSR. Yes, they are that fucking corrupt that they could give lessons in Brussels. That oil is off the charts so anyone can burn it while holding out innocent who me hands.

    Sunday night, quiet pint. I make certain that acquaintances around me get to read and hear what I’m reading and replying. This promises to be quite a night in the battle cruiser.

      In 1970 the environmentalist wackos were saying within 30 years life on earth as we know it would be ended in mass starvation, disease, poverty and GLOBAL COOLING unless we repealed the Industrial Revolution…which, of course, didn’t happen.

      Well, they did get the global cooling part right, but 45 years later life as we know it has not ended.
