   Being a Christian (but a pretty poor one when measured against Christ) I’m torn between what I see as two camps. The desire to help and see lives enriched is always a factor but I most admire the lone missionaries who do it really tough rather than the flashy who piggy back on the backs of taxpayers and govts. In my view govts and Christian charity are poles apart – they simply do not mix well because the goals are so different. On the last day this will get sorted but until then I think I’ll remain cynical in respect of helping Muslims while there are many within the circles of my Christian brethren who are hard done by.
