Fascism..you’re standing in it:

‘The two largest social networks, Facebook and Twitter, and the world’s largest search engine, Google, have teamed up with German law enforcement to delete “hate speech” within 24 hours in what is being seen as a last-ditch effort to silence public dissent about a gigantic wave of Syrian immigration.
The partnership to crack down on what Germany deems illegal speech comes after German law enforcement’s reported concerns about “racist abuse” posted to social media after the country’s huge and extremely controversial import of over a million Syrian refugees…’
Should the loathsome Mr. Zuckerberg meet with an unfortunate 7.62mm accident, I for one will give a rousing cheer.

Ironic that a Jew would assist authoritarian German officials to suppress the German public’s questioning of a Jew-hating culture…

Still, he’s rich and safely in the US, so why should he be concerned.

    • KG says:

Merely an ignorant, rich brat. Proof that money doth not confer wisdom, eh?

      • Odakyu-sen says:

        Wise words.

As I get older, I get less and less amazed at the amount of proof that a person can simultaneously be both immensely wealthy and a complete moron.

There are lots of examples such as John Kerry, a million Hollywood “stars”, the current incumbent of the WH, our own Gareth Morgan, etc, etc. And yet down-to-earth, uncomplicated, honest and intelligent logic is often found in the most humble men – my father-in-law comes to mind, a cabinet maker from a small southern Italian village.

Mr Wabbit , would you please contact me. I have a link for you and can’t find your email on my old and very tired laptop.
    Thanks

Judging by all the traffic my little “hate Muslim/Leftist blog” gets from Germany/Britain/France/Poland, etc. – the so-far pathetic EU attempt to censor the Internet is a big time failure: re. TOR.

    http://ronbosoldier.blogspot.com/2015/12/internet-censorship-in-britain.html

Also, my blog gets massive traffic from Russia – and a steady flow from mainland China, where allegedly the Commies have built the “Great Firewall of China.”

Therefore, failure, failure, FAILURE by the best Internet censors in the world!

During WW II, “Bomber” Harris – the commanding officer of the British heavy bombers was asked by Churchill during the Battle of Britain if his planes could bomb Germany in order to give Hitler a dose of his own medicine.

Said Harris, “Sir, the bomber always get through!”

So I say, “The Blogger always gets through Internet censorship to his favorite website and the TRUTH!”http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_good.gif

It’s the youth Ron,the government can put up any firewall they want, try to block access all they want and the kids will find away to get around it and without being detected.

Flying those barns was quite a feat. “We’ll get through, but the trip home might be on foot or not at all” was the understanding. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_wacko.gif

    Within 24 hours?

You think dog years go quickly? Follow a trending feed on Twitter.

The egg will be on the faces of the authoritarians when people start making fun of the endless “this tweet is no longer available” messages.

Yep; there’s no correlation between wealth and wisdom.
I see this week that the loudmouthed Oprah Winfrey is in town and is holding meetings with her moronic followers who seem too stupid to understand her high decibel condescension. As I get older the more I realize how quickly the gullible will create fresh gods anywhere. (Other than being a glib TV celebrity, what does Oprah stand for?)
Groucho Marx once wisely said: “You can turn talent into money, but not money into talent!”

    • KG says:

“Other than being a glib TV celebrity, what does Oprah stand for?”
She stands for the sheeples’ need for gods and heroes.
Any god, any hero will do, provided they appear on tv.

      • mawm says:

She, like Who-pee’d, has only done well because of her race. If either were white they would have got nowhere because they are not particularly eloquent, good to look at or intelligent. OTOH if they were white I’m sure TVNZ might have had a place for their limited talents. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_scratch.gif

      • Cadwallader says:

Exactly. I read recently how the fascination of fools is now absorbed in following diets and similar fads without even rudimentary questioning. The diet industry is simply another religion it seems.

Why they push gun control in a nutshell. Tech billionaires are essentially lotto winners who were in the right place at the right time. Their guilt at this knowledge is what drives their leftist agenda.

Apologies in advance for what may be a long comment.

The article posted above reminded me of a segment I was listening to on the radio the other day. To cut a long story short, a man who had no (proven) ties to the melbourne criminal underworld was shot in a supposed gang hit. He survived but was later dismayed to find that when he typed “melbourne underworld figures” into google’s search engine and clicked on the images tab that a one or more pictures of himself were contained in the results.

He sued google on the premise that their search engine was in effect slandering him, and he won. Several other cases such as this have been filed in various countries, where google search results link to articles or other third party content that could be deemed slanderous. In many cases the plaintiff has won on the grounds that they notified google of their grievance and google failed to “rectify” the problem. Now, I’m no computer genius but I shudder to think of how a search engine could be “rectified” as to avoid providing links to any third party material that could possibly be slanderous. The task is quite simply impossible, but the judges ruled as they ruled and google has simply had to wear the costs.

By this seemingly innocuous precedent we arrive at the article linked above. I believe it was no coincidence that these ridiculous cases were ruled in favor of the plaintiff, because it essentially puts damn near the entirety of the internet under the thumb of the director of prosecutions, or the district attorney, or whatever crooked chief bureaucrat decides who get’s charged with what. And they, of course, are beholden to whoever pulls their strings.

The bottom line is that if you link to anything that could possibly be perceived as slanderous (or harmful in any other demonstrable manner) then not only are you now legally culpable but in effect so is your internet service provider as well as any search engine that links to you, etc etc.

Where am I going with this? I take facebook/google/twitter’s supposed compliance in all this with a grain of salt. They are corporate entities and are obliged to comply with the law or their balls will be put in a vice. Maybe they were gladly complicit, but the reality is most corporations operate on a simple basis. The path of least resistance on the road to maximum profits.

This is not a Zuckerberg issue. This is not a facebook or twitter or google issue. The reality is the government of nation x calls up the director of these companies as says “you will shield Syrian refugees from bad press or you will be sued into the dark ages for we have precedent and we pay the salary of the judges”.

Even if the director wanted to make a stand for liberty (x), what then? He gets turfed by the board. Excommunicated by big business. And for what? Who notices? Who cares? Who even remembers his name at the end of the week?

No, the ugly truth is that this is not a Zuckerberg issue. This is not a google issue or a facebook issue or a twitter issue. It’s a tyrannical government issue and it’s a lazy, bone-idle citizen issue, and frankly the best thing these companies can do is play along because unless this tyranny and oppression is shoved in our faces we are never as a people going to wake the fuck up.

Don’t agree? Consider, what piques the attention of the average social media user more? The ten millionth anti-immigration rant or ten million users being banned? Ten million messages disappearing the dead of night? No.

We NEED this, because it’s visible and it’s tangible and it takes us out of our cozy little world where we pretend to solve the world’s problems by fucking tweeting about them.
