Posterity will grant them about as much respect as we now accord the 17th century quacks who bled their patients using leeches, or the early 20th century German scientists who helped Hitler compose his diatribe against the discredited Jewish science of Einstein, or the scientists who ganged up on Alfred Wegener for his novel – but correct – theories on continental drift. Really, if none of them ever published another paper in their lives and all their grant funding dried up at midnight tonight, the cause of climate science would not suffer one jot – and the world would become a much better (and richer) place….’

    Scientists one up with a hair- brained idea that may or may not work.
    Engineers sometimes design a plan to make the hair- brained idea to work.
    Technicians make the frickin’ thing actually work.
    Scientists and engineers take the credit.

    The problem is that the AGW hoax is not the only way the wizards of Oz are trying to control We The People.
    God knows what is all still waiting behind the curtain to be thrown at the public if the ones in use would fail!
    And when there is no road left to kick the can they will take you to war.
    The fear factor is necessary so that you give up your rights in a voluntary way step by step.
    You now understand why I have a problem with compulsory things like vaccinations. If I can’t trust them with climate I can’t trust them with health issues.
    For the wizards of Oz we are just cannon fodder and guinea pigs at their disposal.
    Most scientists and politicians are just brown shirts and Hitlerjugend trapped in the game of survival .

    A more appropriate term is fraudsters.
