Had it been a father pushing the pram, social media would be full of outrage at his stupidity and “macho posturing”. So what’s the mother’s excuse?

    My first thought was that she was of the cultural persuasion that believes that one dead child can simply be replaced with another and that taxpayers will pay for it. It is fairly common, sadly.

      It is, although things seem to be getting a little better on that front Mara.
