In the first piece my own state is #2 in homicide rates per 100,000 residents.But examining the numbers one demographic is responsible for 70% of the murders here and also 85% of the victims.Won’t mention what demographic that is since I don’t want to be raaacisss

Yes,that and another little secret.The club owners had the fire exits blocked and locked,which is a violation of both state and federal code.
Had the terrorist simply brought a gallon jug of gasoline and a Bic lighter odds are everyone in the club would have died without a single shot being fired,or a gun even being present.

Good point! As is well known in Central Florida, the gay clubs are not regulated by the city of Orlando or Orange County, so had a five gallon can of gasoline been used at the one and only public entrance and exit, the body count would have been above 90%.
In fact, I read somewhere a terrorist years ago used that means of destruction and murder at a Florida supermarket years ago. Of course, in that case most of the intended victims were able to escape by way of the functional fire exits at the rear.
Gasoline is an excellent means of mass destruction, no doubt about it – and had a rifle not been available, I’m sure the murdering Muhammad Skyhook of Orlando would have used it.
