A productive weekend. Spent yesterday trying to remove the Aircon from my old Lexus, so I can get an alternate belt on and get it running. Of course the compressor needed the whole bloody engine removed to get at it, so it was in with the 4″ grinder and take the pulley apart in chunks, so the new shortened belt could run without rubbing.
Have to use the aircon buttons on the doors now…

I accidentally (while under the influence of painkillers) put chain lube in the gas tank of the chainsaw. Dropped it at the local garage, picked it up and now the damn thing won’t run on full throttle. And it’s gutless too.

Well, the mech says he cleared it all, but it’s sticky stuff, so maybe not. Perhaps he just drained the tank and refilled it. He did admit he hadn’t had time to run it. Perhaps it’ll clear in time.
