        I visited Dubbo Zoo a few years ago and they had two females and one male Galapagos tortoise. These tortoises can live for 300 years, and the zoo keeper told us one female was 93 years old and the other one was only forty. I noticed that the 93 year old female had scrape marks on her shell, and I asked the zoo keeper about them. He confirmed that they were from mating, and he said the male preferred the 93 year old to the young 40 year old hottie. It appears that age shall not weary them.

          In fact, I know this guy very well who did stand up comedy at a private party and got framed by the Feds and sent away to the Federal GULAG for five years.

          The Feds have enough here for any number of felony charges – and once the charges are laid, a Grand Jury will approve, and conviction is almost certain.

          The only question is: Will Trump turn lose the DOJ on the Leftist criminals?

          If so, heads will roll starting with Obama’s fuzzy little brain bucket.

When the SKUNC is from a state with a conservative governor (like AK, AZ or SC) his removal will result in no numerical loss in the Senate.

                  It actually says “asked the Justice Department to publicly reject Trump’s assertion”. Different thing entirely.

                  However there should be an investigation into the claims by Trump – and I hope he has enough evidence to ensure that the DOJ fully investigates Obama and his motley crew.

Trump has said he would like to have a gold backed currency.

        Trump may have no political experience, but you don’t become a business success at his level without knowing a hell of a lot about people and the way they think. He would have expected resistance and some sabotage when he sat down in the Oval Office. Maybe not to the extent that we’re seeing, but he would have known that most of his Plan A’s would be shot down and prepared for the event with B’s, C’s and even D’s.
        The Democrats keep on throwing up new strategies, convinced that every one will succeed and instantly forgetting them when they fail. Not even pausing to draw a breath and ask ‘Well, how did THAT one go wrong?’ We shouldn’t allow ourselves, as Trump’s admirers and supporters, to sink to their level of stupidity.

    Having spent the last couple of weekends watching crappy old movies, I hit upon a pretty good double this weekend from the mid-70s with Black Sunday and Telefon. In the first, the plot was to load up the Goodyear blimp with darts and explosives. Target: the Super Bowl. Telefon had a Stalin-loving minion getting hold of the names of sleeper agents in America – and the code phrase that would turn them into suicide bombers.
    This was the first time I’d watched either film. Did they seem farfetched forty years ago? Probably. In the wake the Fort Hood shooter and the Boston Marathon bombing, let along 9/11, they are almost prescient.

        In my department – thankfully, not in my office – there are three people who fit that description perfectly. One in particular can only be described as having a very remote acquaintance with everyday English. Have never spoken to them on the phone, but their emails read like the output of a backward preschooler.

          Buddy of mine in Dallas is third generation Mexican immigrant,his college aged son took a job working at Lowe’s home improvement in Dallas.
          He came home from work one night and his dad asked him what they did at work that day.He said they spent part of the day hanging bi-lingual signs over the isles in the store,English and Spanish.
          His dad laughed when he heard that and said”what makes them think they can read Spanish either? :mrgreen:
