Ole Trump foxed the Left again with his Rope-A-Dope tactic of making what they think is an outrageous comment that he knows to be true and a winning hand – and then lets the Left punch him without mercy on the ropes.

Then when they are “punched out” he lands the K.O. right on the kisser!http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif

CANADA GOES COMMUNIST: NO FREE SPEECH ALLOWED

This clears the way for Sharia law in Canada – and the USA simply cannot tolerate a totalitarian country that allows Islamic terrorists to rum amok on an open border of 3,000 plus miles.

In fact, what Boy Blunder Trudeau has done is tantamount to a declaration of war against America.

Can American Crusaders explain the deal to me with the health care bill? It looks to me as if Trump’s ‘defeat’ has just been another play. He can now repeal the Obamacare act and say Okay, I tried being nice but you made me get tough.
I saw somewhere that his error was promising to repeal Obamacare while simultaneously promising universal health care. Which I don’t recall hearing before.

    • Darin says:

Well the bill in question was termed “Obamacare lite” from jump.It doesn’t repeal Obamacare, just removes the mandate to buy it.It also doesn’t repeal most of the taxes and does nothing to bring the cost of healthcare coverage or the cost of healthcare down.
This is not Trump’s fault, this is totally on Paul “Rino” Ryan.He is the idiot that caused this train wreck. He put together a bill in a hamfisted way, that he knew damn well none of the conservative members would vote for.So despite all the deal making and posturing from the past few weeks they simply didn’t have the votes to even consider a floor vote,so they pulled the bill.

Trump is the president,he can’t author legislation, all he can do is help steer the process by using the bully pulpit to goad the house and senate on policy terms. To his credit,he did just that last night when he basically told the GOP controlled house to shit or get off the pot and put the thing on the floor.I think his patience with the GOP lead congress is running thin. They didn’t do this right, the entire House GOP should have been brought down and given a good talking to on day one to get together, write a bill they could all vote for and get the SOB passed.Instead they looked like a bunch of incompetent idiots running around with their heads chopped off.

      • Gregoryno6 says:

Aha… thanks for that. I’ve always thought the Prez could write legislation – or at least tell his staffers what bills he wanted written.

Wasn’t Ryan Mitt Romney’s pick for VP? That would suggest his loyalty to President Trump is not 100% rock solid.

        • Darin says:

Ryan’s loyalty is aligned with the dems and the globalist. The district he represents votes 85% democrat so what’s that say about him?

I’m gonna do a post on Ryan and his ilk,all this has turned into is another fund raising feed trough for the parties and once again the American people get screwed.

          • Ronbo says:

Maybe this was a final examination for Paul Ryan? We know from “The Apprentice” that Trump appointed leaders to test their leadership abilities. If they failed, they were fired. If they were successful they got all kinds of rewards and an offer of employment as CEOs of one Trump’s companies. This could have been all about testing Paul Ryan as Speaker of the House. He has failed his test….so a trip to the Boardroom where he will be fired unless he can come up with a good explanation of his failure. If Trump agrees he gets another chance; if not, “YOU’RE FIRED!”

TRUMP YOU MAGNIFICENT BASTARD: I”VE WATCHED THE APPRENTICE!

        • Ronbo says:

@Greg: No, The House of Representatives is separate from the executive on paper; however, the president is the leader of the party and can command the Speaker to introduce what legislation the president wants to be voted.

In this case, the real leader was Trump first, last and always. Ryan’s position was that of a manger hired by Trump and given an important task to accomplish and clearly Ryan has failed and voices in the House are already being raised to find a replacement.

As I said before, I think this exercise was pretty much the same sort of thing I saw Trump do countless times on his long running show “The Apprentice” – which was a process to find the right man or woman for his corporation.

I think Paul Ryan’s days as Speaker of the House are numbered.

      • Ronbo says:

My first high powered rifle was an British Enfield .303 jungle carbine with the ten round magazine for $19.95 plus tax, postage and handling. I purchased it mail order from – are you ready – from an advertisement in a comic book :-)

This was before the Kennedy assassination in 1963 and I lived in southern Ohio – good deer country – and I had failed to bring down a buck with my .22 Winchester.

I was all of 14 years old and my dad liked to have a cow when the postman delivered my elderly Enfield….It seems the old man thought I was a tad young to handle a high powered military rifle with a maximum effective range of 500 meters, so he seized the weapon until I turned 16 and old enough for deer season and a hunting license.

Also, he thought I needed the rifle range and a combat zero on my Enfield. :-) I had absolutely no idea what a “combat zero” was at the time, but my dad – an ex-paratrooper – instructed me after the stern lecture on firearms’ safety.

    Thomas Sowell-Misconceptions About Slavery

    https://youtu.be/V7gN2EYbtgM

Only about 10 minutes, but worth the listen.

    • Ronbo says:

Indeed, slavery has existed everywhere in the world – and still does today – especially in the Muslim World, but what made American slavery noteworthy was that the slave owners and slaves were of different races – usually.

However, there were European slaves in early colonial America – most commonly Irish – who were press ganged by the British and put on “coffin ships” for colonies like Virginia in the 17th century, so that in early Virginia it would not be uncommon for white and black slaves to be working together in the fields.

Of course, the white slaves were on “contract” for various periods of time – usually seven years – but the plantation owners would charge them for room and board, so that when the contract was up, the white slave was deeper in debt. Often the only way out was escape to the west, which is how states like Kentucky were originally peopled – by escaped white slaves from Virginia.

Slavery in America is a complex subject – for instance, there were a number of black plantation owners who owned black slaves – and there were many cases where an enslaved black purchased his freedom from his white owner and went into business. During the U.S. Civil War there were black regiments in the Confederate Army who fought for the South – and the rebel armies had plenty of help from blacks acting as teamsters, cooks and valets who thought of themselves as loyal Southerners fighting the “Damn Yankees.”

I wonder who was better off in the pre Civil War South – the poor white sharecropper, or the black slave on a well run plantation? Life was hard back then for everyone.

  17. Ronbo says:

    @KG and Darin:

    He’s back with a classic I’m sure you’ll link to…..The conclusion:
    ————————————————————————————-
….That is because a majority of Americans—realizing that the Constitution and the laws have ceased to protect them from unending injuries to their way of life; aggravated by being insulted as “irredemable” and “deplorable” racists, sexists, etc.; eager for relief and, yes, for payback with interest; knowing that the ruling class is closed to argument from those it considers its inferiors—have no option but to turn the tables in the hope that, suffering the same kind of insulting oppression, the ruling class might learn the value of treating others as they themselves like to be treated. More likely, doing this would be one more turn in the spiral of reprisals typical of revolutions. And yet, there seems no way of avoiding this.

What is to be done with a political system in which no one any longer believes? This is a revolutionary question because America’s ruling class largely destroyed, along with its own credibility, the respect for truth, and the culture of restraint that had made the American people unique stewards of freedom and prosperity. Willful masses alienated from civilization turn all too naturally to revolutions’ natural leaders. Donald Trump only foreshadows the implacable men who, Abraham Lincoln warned, belong to the “family of the lion and the tribe of the eagle.”

In short, the P.C. “changes in law and public norms” (to quote Galston again) that the ruling class imposed on the rest of America, rather than having “gradually brought about changes in private attitudes across partisan and ideological lines” as the ruling class imagined (and as Gramsci would have approved) have set off a revolution—of which we can be sure only that it won’t be pretty.
