We don’t really need to play “spot the difference”, do we? It could be paranoia, except that it fits an established pattern. Talk about “maintaining the integrity of NZ’s immigration system” is so much bollocks, when rapist taxi drivers are allowed to stay and so-called refugees are allowed into the country and then return home on holiday…
What kind of parents encourage or allow a daughter to bring home an Arab boyfriend? It is beyond my understanding. If my child had been so stupid as to do this, I’ve have shot his arse out of the house and considered myself to be a total failure as a parent. And btw, if your adult child requires a safe place to avoid offensive words, you have failed as a parent.
There is a lot of prejudice against South Africans in certain circles. I remember an ex mayor of ChCh stating on TV how much he hated South Africans. This case was held in ChCh. I wonder if he and the judge are friends? Small city…..
I note the Fijian lady pays her medical costs and that was a factor – she may be a zero cost terminally ill person. There may be a significant difference on that basis alone. I’m not anti the Sth African but colour may not be the issue so the post may not represent discrimination on the basis you allege.
In fact I’m pretty sure it does, Brown. Again and again in NZ I’ve heard people stress that African refugees should be made welcome and when I pointedly ask if that includes white Africans the reaction has been hostile far more often than not.
NZ can spend a fortune on housing, interpreters and social/medical services for “refugees” (yeah, I believe most of them are fake) but one blind kid would be an unsupportable burden?
Pull the other one. The family would be far more likely to be an asset to NZ than a Bangladeshi taxi

To suggest Immigration and a hell of a lot of Kiwis aren’t hostile to white South Africans is to ignore the evidence.That hostility goes all the way back to the Springbok tour days, especially in academia.
Large numbers of Kiwis are very, very hostile to whatever the current propaganda tells them to be. And that’s a sad fact.
I don’t know of any discrimination against white South Africans in the USA – but do recall this one cheeky former SA guy I knew in Florida in 1990s, who applied as a joke for Affirmative Action after he became a U.S. citizen at the large company he worked for on the basis he was now an “African-American” – and now eligible for a promotion and a pay bump.
…The kicker was his demands were granted by his company – who then used his case to achieve their Affirmative Action goals for the federal government.
The man is question had blond hair and blue eyes…

That warmed my heart, then chilled it as I realised the consequences.
I remember the SA boycotts and trade sanctions we had here.I learned several lessons from them-
1- liberals will march lock step behind any banner they see as right regardless of how much evidence says they are wrong.
2- trade sanctions don’t work,because in the middle of the embargo we were working with SA produced steel.Good stuff too I might add.
Yeah – that arms embargo. I was at a naval base in SA at that time and used to walk past piles of imported military equipment labeled US Military that was for SA troops in Angola helping the CIA support Savimbe.
I know for a fact in the 1980s to the early 1990’s there were USAF cargo planes flying to South Africa on a daily basis from Patrick AFB, where I lived near at the time – and being a retired military member in good standing in those long ago days , I could flown to J-Burg in South Africa for free (All USAF C-141 jet cargo plans had airline style passenger seats and the USAF would feed you MREs on the flight for free as well)….
This airlift to SA from Florida was done on the Q.T. – as a cover story the USAF said the plane fleet of C-141s were working for NASA “downrange” and hauling supplies to the islands down range of THE Kennedy Space Center (KSC) – but the cover story was just that – the real deal was military supplies for the SA military we were allied to in those days fighting in Angola against the Cubans and native Communists.
This was back in the Reagan-Bush administrations (1981 to 1992) and when Clinton was elected and took office in 1993, the flights ended…I think white ruled South Africa was doomed by then, so it really didn’t make any difference.
The entire point of the government immigration bureaucracy now is to change the racial demographics along globalist lines. So this shouldn’t be any surprise. An alt right slogan I saw recently is “Multiculturalism = white genocide”. That may be over the top rhetoric , but there’s a grain of truth in it.
The white genocide seems to be working well in SA – for the blacks, that is – Over 5,000 white farmers murdered since the ANC took over the country – and many of the surviving whites living defenseless in slums waiting for the head chop.
I submit this is the fate that waits the white race should we allow it. (1) Make us unemployable and poor. (2) In poverty we huddle without defense in slums. (3) The Final Solution.
Funny…never a mention in the Leftist Media about this Holocaust…well, maybe not so funny if your goal to wipe out the one race on the planet that could bring an end to the Global oligarchy.
