And this topic begs the question, how do liberals square this?Their blind tolerance for all things muslim-vs- their most cherished right to same sex shagging?About as at odds as gasoline is to a match.http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_unsure.gif

Progressives simply persuade themselves that homophobia is the viewpoint of extremists, not “normal” Muslims. This is patently garbage, but that does not prevent them from pretending it is true. This is because progressives actually don’t give a damn about Muslims, in general. What they care about is what they have always cared about – power. And “Islamophobia” is a great tool for pounding conservatives and seizing the narrative in their drive to take power back from all those nasty conservatives who stole it from them.

And, no, they don’t give a toss about democracy, either.

I still think we should arm both Shia and Sunni to the teeth, seal the borders and stand back and watch the “religion of peace” deal with the violence problem in the time-honored way. Now that would demonstrate our tolerance of other cultures. (nb I use the word “culture” somewhat loosely here)

A side note, the “person” giving the speech at the 2:07 mark resembles a horse, except for the beard.

Sooo, if Muslims are prohibited from being homos but a couple can get around this by deciding on a sex change for one of the participants, then surely this is a breach of one of their absurd laws? To breach one of these edicts is punishable by death, then the participant who doesn’t have the sex change remains liable to death. I’m confused, deeply confused..I don’t know whether I am Arthur or Martha or ought it be Aahmed and Aahmeda?http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_sad.gif

Don’t worry about it, Cad. They’re just as confused, although they do retain the option of throwing people off tall buildings to clarify things.

The issue around that was that the Koran didn’t mention changing sex (science and all that has moved on a bit in 1400 years) so its just that you cannot view the Koran in light of developments both social and scientific because its the perfect and immutable word of Allah. This theological dilemma mires Islam in the worst of the world of 1400 years ago.
