NZ media – peddling propaganda. Again.

‘THE ANGRY SEA WILL KILL US ALL’

Complete with pretty, bandwidth-hogging graphics. So it must be da troof, right? At the end of this propaganda piece we see the agenda revealed:

Charlie Mitchell travelled to Kiribati as part of Stuff’s partnership with Unicef NZ….’

It was one wave. They happen. These islands are at sea level what else would you expect. They are very willing enablers of the UN climate agenda- they want the free money!

  2. Brown says:

Islands come and go over time, these old types more frequently go. Its just the passage of time and plate tectonics rather than the climate (dynamiting of the reef doesn’t help though). I recall reading that many years ago two countries went to war over a small volcanic island that popped up nearby and then, after the scrap, disappeared again. Stupid has been around for a long time.

As for “justice” in NZ, it sure helps to be female…

Darwin is famous for his theory of evolution but he is not as well known for his other theory on coral atoll’s. Here is an article which describes his theory and brings in some modern research.
    https://www.livescience.com/31975-how-coral-atolls-form.html
However these researchers are clearly heretics and will no doubt be purged from the scientocracy. The money quote is near the end of the article.

“You can explain a lot of the variety you see just by combining these various processes — the sinking of islands, the growth of reefs, and the last few million years of sea level going up and down rather dramatically”

No more funding for these heretics and a severe session on the rack is looming.

Also note in the “stuff” article/hit piece, that rapid breeding mongst the islanders is putting pressure on the ecosystem. I am sure that this must be a typo errror as we re constantly reminded that the native populations of the pacific were all eco warriors zealously gurding the resources for future generations etc etc or some other such crap.
Moa’s and Haast eagles spring to mind for some strange reason.

Sorry about the missing “a”s above. Early onset cynicism means I must have drooled on the keyboard or something.

Bill, I just finished re-reading Darwin’s The Voyage of the Beagle and once again I’m amazed at what a brilliant observer he was. He traversed South America and the Pacific during that voyage and the book is crammed with his insights. His observations about the formation of atolls are a model of clear, deductive reasoning.
Pity modern “climate scientists” don’t share his ability – and honesty.
( I do like your “early onset cynicism”. Must use that sometime.)

Oh dear! What are they going to do about this? http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_unsure.gif

Speaking of propaganda, how about this from the WashPost, recycled by NZ Stuff?
‘US President Donald Trump has tapped Kathleen Hartnett-White, a former chairman of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, to head a key White House office that co-ordinates environmental and energy policies across the US government.
…Like other members of the Trump administration, she has long questioned the overwhelming scientific consensus on human-fuelled climate change and has criticised the findings of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), a volunteer group of climate scientists whose findings are considered the gold standard of climate science.
    https://www.stuff.co.nz/world/americas/97876717/donald-trump-taps-climate-sceptic-for-top-white-house-environmental-post

Some lies just won’t die, even with an oak stake driven through their black hearts. The “scientific consensus” scam has been discredited again and again.
A chimpanzee might consider Bananas in Pajamas the “gold standard” in entertainment, too. But that doesn’t make it so.

    • Pascal says:

They refuse to let the lies die because climate scam is even worse than just a money-making proposition via the taxing powers. Through regulations, including censorship, fines and jail time for offenders, the operators are carrying out the policies of the neo-Malthusians that restarted in the 1960s.

I’ve said much more about this before, but it seems I have failed to make a dent in the wider perception because so few sites repeat much of the evidence. And forget the SSM, including so-called conservative talkers. This place is an exception and have been very grateful for it.

I have a new run-down in mind. Gotta piece it together.

    After the smash
After several ominous rumbles outside the tower the individual creaks have finally merged into a continuous roar. Brexit, the defeat of Hillary Clinton, the crumbling of the Iran deal, America quitting UNESCO, Trump dismantling Obamacare, consular withdrawal from Cuba, the pullout from the Paris accord — these have piled on so fast they’ve acquired the character of a single collective event. Now the fall of Hollywood has followed like the inevitable comedic boulder right on Wile E. Coyote’s head at the bottom of the gulch. Are we still in Kansas anymore?…’

Yes, I sense the same thing, as I said about a week ago here – the tide has turned.

I learned about “turning tides” from my father – WW II veteran of the European theater who said that an experienced infantryman could always tell when an German attack ran out of steam – the hostile fire would slowly slack off and the friendly fire would increase. The enemy would begin to withdraw from the field. The American soldiers would start their counter attack and drive the remaining enemy troops from the field.

…and my dad said the amazing thing was that no orders were necessary on either side for a firefight to unfold….The generals may order a position taken, the officers in the field may yell themselves voiceless, but the battle god has the last word.

So I see the same thing happening in this country and all over the world – the Old Leftist Regime is falling apart before our shocked and unbelieving eyes after an unsuccessful do or die attack ordered by the Big People to take out us Little People. This offensive has failed. The Left is in full retreat and is falling apart like the German Army during last stage of the Battle of the Bulge.

Many years ago here on Crusader Rabbit and my blog – I predicted such an outcome. I said the fury of the Islamic and Leftist attacks against We The Good People of The West was a last ditch attempt by dying ideologies to destroy that which is slowly eating them alive: Western Civilization.

Once someone asked a homeless man who once had been rich how he lost his fortune. He said, “Slowly at first, then suddenly it was gone.”

Beware the Venezuala situation – where the leaders of the resistance against tyranny make a deal with the tyrant to hold sham elections, thus robbing the resistance of energy.
        See today’s Breitbart.
‘Exclusive: Opposition Leaders on the Strange Collapse of Venezuela’s Protest Movement’
        http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2017/10/14/exclusive-opposition-leaders-strange-collapse-venezuelas-protest-movement/

All that’s necessary is some smoke and mirrors, then those who continue to resist the regime are marginalised and made to seem unreasonable. This is already used to some extent in the West, especially in Europe. It’s been “immigration cutbacks next year” for fifteen years now. And it’s never happened. While the chains grow more numerous, the State ever more intrusive.
Only one question matters: Are we right now more or less free than we were last year?
