Clowns now in charge of a country:

NZ to go big on climate change

UPDATE:

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern lashes Australia over treatment of Manus Island refugees
This virtue-signalling idiot and her sheeple followers seem to be missing some information. Either that, or they believe that these illegal immigrants will somehow magically reform the moment they set foot on NZ soil. Or perhaps they’re merely being Standard Dishonest Leftards?
I hope Kiwis bear in mind the fact a minority voted for these clowns and that by any reasonable measure of democracy this is an illegitimate government.

‘The residents of Manus Island say there’s been a spike in violence and offensive behaviour, following the release of asylum seekers from Australia’s detention centre.
….”The others that have come in lately: they’re a different type. They’re very aggressive. They don’t ask. They take what they want”.

“There’s been – some of them have been having sex in the public toilets in the market, in broad daylight, with young girls”….’

So much bullshit, so little time.

    • mawm says:

Yeah, and so much ‘other peoples’ money to spend. They are like children in a candy shop – with just as much delayed gratification.

  2. Ronbo says:

Welcome to the third term of the Obama Regime New Zealand Style – Hope you idiots who voted for Green Communism love the next few years – this is your wake up call from Communist Hell.http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_negative.gifhttp://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_negative.gifhttp://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_negative.gif

  3. Well even before Jacinda was Prime Minister she said no more tax cuts. Do you think that was a coincidence?

  4. I mean, you can’t spend more on the climate and have tax cuts, unless of course you like the idea of printing money.

    • KG says:

Printing money worked well for Mugabe, who is probably Jacinda’s hero.

      • Well KG, if you think that NZ First is a good party to keep labour from going too far to the left, wait till you hear this:

Someone from the Washington Post says NZ First is from the far right. To find the article, just type in: New Zealand First, and it is currently at the top of the news.

        • KG says:

I read that Warren, and all I can say is it’s up (or down) to the Washpost’s usual standard.

          • Well they must have a really pathetic standard. Just as well I’m not a subscriber or I’d be throwing up. That’s the solution to hunger, read the post, and you will lose your appetite.

  5. KG says:

    Justice, NZ-style:
A Timaru police sergeant’s actions were dubbed “unlawful” by the judge but the defendant was still found guilty of fictitiously using a telephone.
…Judge Joanna Maze said she found Crawford guilty of the offence “by a very narrow margin”  despite describing Sutherland’s actions as “unlawful behaviour”…’

  6. Darin says:

Okay so let me see if I can plot this out-

    – The meeting won’t accomplish anything, but we can go and live it up on the taxpayer and consumer’s dime.
    – When we get home from the meeting we can have endless committee and panel discussions on the subject and live it up on the taxpayer and consumer’s dime.
    – We can have an excuse to pass numerous, piss ant rules and regulations in the dead of night designed to steal every dollar we can in order to increase government control and largess while simultaneously feathering our own bed.

    How’d I do?http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_mail.gif

  7. Michael in Nelson says:

The increase in the gas tax to occur in 3…2…1

As if it wasn’t outrageous now. 91 hit $2.129 in Nelson this week.

    • mawm says:

Don’t forget the extra 10c a litre in Auckland to fund the light rail. WTF is it with the left and trains????? Maybe they all watched Dr Zhivago too often. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_unsure.gif

      • Cadwallader says:

The idea of funding light rail to Auckland Airport (or perhaps anywhere?) is absurd. By the time the stupid thing is built there’ll be a second airport in the city, probably on the North Shore. The existence of a second, albeit domestic only airport, surely would suggest an easing of congestion at the present one? Wellington now has the benefit of Kapiti’s airport relieving congestion at its principal one and it is working a treat. “Light-rail” is essentially a euphemism for a costly Greenie dream.

  8. mawm says:

Nowhere else to put this but maybe this is the right place to remind these communist clowns of the number of young men who have died in the defence of freedom.

    11 November: Remembrance Day.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
    We will remember them.

  9. KG says:

‘Welfare benefits for families with children are set to rise to their highest rates in real terms for at least 37 years, as the new Labour Government acts against child poverty.
…Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has personally taken a new portfolio of “Minister for Child Poverty Reduction” ..’

    Pardon me while I vomit…..
Not a fucking word about lifting NZ’s appalling productivity figures, nothing about lifting the crippling burden of red tape and reducing the number of bureaucrat leeches, nothing whatsoever about making a whole lot of rotten parents take responsibility for the welfare of their kids and certainly no word about how government takes a taxpayer dollar and churns it through the bureaucratic mill until it’s worth around 22c by the time it reaches the intended destination.
But that would be grown-ups talking wouldn’t it?
    Groin Kick

    • mawm says:

The information is out there, it is well known, but they choose to ignore it – welfarism causes dependency and poverty. It’s almost as if that’s what there aim is. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_unsure.gif

      • KG says:

Except that this bunch aren’t capable of linking cause and effect – that’d imply some form of primitive intelligence wouldn’t it?

        • Another possibility, maybe they want you to be dependent on the state. There is no bigger danger to controlling people then those who are independent and have all that they could ever want or need.

Imagine if you owned the roads, would you still pay a user fee? When your dependent you play by there rules. If there was no welfare dependency, we wouldn’t be paying so much in taxes now would we.

About 40% of your earnings goes to tax. That’s when all taxes and user fees are added together.

    • Yep productivity, is a big issue. NZ has the third lowest productivity rate in the OECD. We have the third lowest capital intensity per person rate. Capital means machinery, equipment and tools. Its like mowing a lawn with a push mower and expecting to get the same per hour as someone who can do it in half the time as they have a petrol mower.

Immigration then doesn’t help one bit. It drags down our productivity rate unless these immigrants bring in more capital. And the Human Rights Commission would call this talk discrimination. Just go to there website, click on your rights, and then click on newcomers.

So that’s why we can’t compete very well in the international markets, our productivity is not going up. So what is going up, is taxes. There goes your tax cut. The HRC should be saying welfare and higher taxes and low productivity are human rights.
