  1. Odakyu-sen says:

From the perspective of Japan, New Zealand and Australia seem to enjoy a close, fraternal relationship that is envious. After all, could you imagine China and Japan being so close?

It is all the more painful to me to see the Ardern regime play such a game that might risk this special Antipodean relationship. And for what? I am sure that the Australians will act in the interests of their people.

Is Ardern virtue signaling? If so, then to whom? Surely her loyalty is to the New Zealand State; not some imagined job in an ivory tower in New York… (I am probably out of line on this point.)

Japan will not easily admit it, but it is hard to be all alone in East Asia without any close friends–certainly nothing like the camaraderie that exists between the two young siblings of the old British Empire. What a shame to throw that all away…

You don’t know what you had until it’s gone…

    • KG says:

      Too right, Odakyu-sen.
      A headline in today’s Herald:

Aussies will be rolling around laughing at the delusional little girl of no experience. She’s doing NZ’s image no good whatsoever with her virtuous, ignorant posing.

Words, Words, WORDS is how the weakling PM intends for New Zealand to intervene in North Korea – http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif

I’m sure the short, fat and not too intelligent dictator of the NORKS will get a laugh out of “hard words” coming from a South Pacific island-nation with a pussified military establishment that would last about a microsecond in combat with the CRIPS gang in Los Angeles – much less a military establishment with an army the size of the USA.

Yes, the GPA of New Zealand may up there in the top 10 nations of the First World, but the NORKS are looking at how many nukes, ships, planes and MEN the “super pussy” PM NZ can throw against them. Earth to PM Arden and the socialist GLOBALISTS of NZ – the real world is a brutal game of thrones played out by nations and only FORCE – or the will to use that force counts.

America is respected in this global jungle of endless war and conquest because she owns 20,000 nuclear weapons in a military machine in combat somewhere in the world – and the sad and ugly truth is that New Zealand exists as a Western nation is because the always hungry lions in the jungle know that to get to the South Pacific utopia (in the minds of many), they first have to deal with the USA – The World Policeman on call 24/7.

….and the aggressive Pacific powers know that work out well for the Japanese in 1942 when the sailed towards New Zealand.

Like George Orwell famously said, “People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.”

I’m sorry if I offended any of my friends in New Zealand – you are a great people – I love you! – but someone, somewhere must be the voice crying in the wilderness!

….words, words, WORDS without raw naked force and the known will to back them up by war means nothing in world jungle and serve only to make you look foolish.

    A crucially important question:
‘Who made leftists the moral arbiters of our society?’
“…While condemning Moore for kissing a 16-year-old girl, the self-righteous leftists are the ones promoting and supporting the wholesale slaughter of innocent babies in the womb.  This is a murderous holocaust of unprecedented proportions.  So which is worse, kissing or fondling and underage girl (if this even happened) or killing 60 million babies since 1973?  I fail to see how anyone supporting abortion can claim to possess the moral high ground on any issue!..”
    http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2017/11/moore_hypocrisy.html

    • Pascal says:

‘Who made leftists the moral arbiters of our society?’

It’s too bad CR hasn’t the command of media that would be required to make the answer abundantly clear to all those who have drunk the Kool-Aid. They who buy the media with their $multi-billions have made themselves the moral arbiter.

It’s been our thankless job to point out that said assertions by those buyers needs to be rejected. And it’s never helped our efforts that too many of our own are afraid to call these ultimate haters out for the deadly bastards they and their predecessors have been, and that they are actively working to expand their murderous results into the billions rather than scores of millions.

NR published this today: Population Panic, Back Again.

Maybe 20 years ago I might have applauded their permitting this piece to be published. But it is not nearly as harsh as I think merited. And many of the comments are left by typically moderate “conservatives” who disagree with the mild harshness also based on the Precautionary Principle, so Godless that the proponents hate any who have even a mild belief in God.

I think this was published as a way of laughing at any of us (KG and Pascal and a handful of others) who were trying to make it clear that culling billions of people by any means available to “save the planet” was only the latest programme put into practice based on the Precautionary Principle that madmen (the Progs of the last 2 centuries are merely the latest) have always relied on to justify their anti-human “morality.”

The larger “right” websites are very much part of the problem. Were they to take such threat seriously you could tell.

So it is clear to me what the answer to your question is KG. Too much money is in the hands of Sinister forces allows them to control how the majority of humans are indoctrinated. They assert their moral superiority and only the muffled voices of the more daring call it a lie.

The classical morality, to which you referred in your question, hasn’t had a seat at the tables of influence in hundreds of years. And you can see its absence too all in our post-modernist infected mainline houses of religion. Their complicity when not merely silent is too well known.

Great question KG. I hope you like my answer.

      • KG says:

I like it very much, thank you Pascal. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_good.gif

        • Pascal says:

What is particularly galling KG, is that both the Left Sinister forces and the self-appointed authorities of what is conservative, like those at NR, have in the past labeled our concerns as tin-foil-hat material. But when the Sinister discuss such madness openly, they actually treat such megalomania as worthy of consideration, while NR and those like them only write bland “exposés” about them. And you and I are granted no credit because we remain solidly based in classical morality.

          • KG says:

But very far from as much a minority as the MSM works so hard to portray us as in order to delegitimise our viewpoint.
(Nowadays I regard Eastern Europe as the most hopeful source of a restoration of sanity. They know what the jackboot looks like and how it used to feel living under it.)
The compulsive search for novelty trivia and academia’s “anxiety of influence” (from Harold Bloom’s The Western Canon) may finally help unravel the left. Whether or not it will happen too late is an interesting question.

            • Pascal says:

I surely pray you are correct.

Still Eastern EU remains in danger much as the Hungarians of 1956 and the Czechs of 1968 were given the push to raise a postmodern Gestapo and SS. And that’s even before those who remember what hell Soviet domination was die off, to be replaced by their public skooled offspring and the offspring of the invaders.

              • Darin says:

‘Who made leftists the moral arbiters of our society?’

They aren’t,they just change the terms and control the narrative to bend society to their sick, demented will.
Abortion is a perfect example of this, they never like it to be talked about in real terms, only in their “approved” euphemisms.A Fetus is reduced to a “blob of tissue” or an abortion that tears an unborn child apart while it’s still alive is just a “procedure”.
The old mantra from the murder loving left was “keep abortion safe and legal” all the while even though it’s legal it has never been safe.So much so that the Kermit Gosnell and the Tiller “the Killer’s “of the world are allowed to run rampant in their house of horrors.

Good article on WhaleOil about how the US economy is steaming ahead like a battleship –
    https://www.whaleoil.co.nz/2017/11/cold-hard-truth-hard-ignore-trumps-economy/

Quote – “This “Trump gets no credit” approach says a lot about how poorly progressive Democrats understand what drives economic growth. It isn’t more government; its less. In his first nine months, President Trump has taken a machete to the Obama era’s rules and regulations that have been choking American businesses like parasitic vines. In fact, a recent analysis by the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI), a libertarian think tank, found that **Trump is deregulating the economy at a pace no other president ever has.**

“According to CEI, Trump’s has reduced the Federal Register’s page count by an impressive 32 percent compared to President Obama at this time last year. This put him on course to beat President Reagan’s record of a “one-third reduction in Federal Register pages following Jimmy Carter’s then-record Federal Register.” But that reduction took Reagan years to accomplish. Trump has been in office nine months. “So, by this metric, Trump is moving much faster” already making him the “least-regulatory president since Reagan.” There is little doubt that he will exceed Reagan’s record becoming the least regulatory president **period**.

Between Inauguration Day and May, the Trump administration issued just 15 new major regulations, by far the most dramatic reduction in regulatory output in history. In July, the administration announced that Trump’s Cabinet secretaries had surpassed the two for one rule and actually **eliminated 16 old regulations for every new one**.

In a September speech to manufacturers, the president credibly stated, “We have taken unprecedented steps to remove job-killing regulations that sap the energy, creativity and dynamism from our country. We are cutting regulations at a pace that has never even been thought of before.” ”

    Great stuff!!!

        • Ronbo says:

I know the economy is doing good without looking at the official stats – I figured this out Saturday at the grocery store – The prices on average were 5% higher than the week before – which means people have more money to spend at the store because new jobs are hiring — so “To get their beaks wet” as the Mafia would say, the food sellers raise their prices…ditto across the board.

Likewise when the economy is doing poorly – the grocery stores cut prices and have more sales going. For example, three years ago at the high tide of the Obama Regime bad economy – job loss – hours cut – 10% unemployment rate – my grocery store – Target – gave out generous discount coupons at the cashier. Today these coupons have almost disappeared.

A rising tide raises all boats – and profits…such is capitalism – Invented in Britain in the late 18th century – sharpened to perfection by America in the 19th century – that requires only that the government get the hell out of the way of the businessman for maximum profits and maximum wealth for everyone (to include the government in higher tax revenues) – and encourages the inventors to build a better mouse trap.

      • Pascal says:

Could be Michael. Yet, media mavens, aware that such stories garner great public interest, would surely be willing to sacrifice their minions.

    • Michael in Nelson says:

Ok, so I actually went and read the article. The authors are well aware of ‘swamp gas’ and that the methane is produced by bacteria. What is new is they found the bacteria (at least this species) was found from the deep sediments (an anaerobic environment) all the way to the soil surface. This is important because it was previously thought that the methane producing bacteria could not survive in an oxygen rich environment. The finding indicates that the natural production of methane may be much greater that assumed by models.
