God help New Zealand

With this unelected coalition of the braindead in charge.
Greens:
‘The party is in Government for the first time and holds the climate change, conservation, women’s, and associate transport and health portfolios.’

Almost nobody voted for these loonies!

    Or Winston first.

  2. You know, under First Past the Post, the Greens wouldn’t be in. At most they would have one or two seats. Maybe next election people will want FPP.

FPP and National, or MMP with the Greens. How bout this as an extra insult, start up the Gummy bears party. If that doesn’t make people laugh, I don’t know what will.

Oh just so that we are clear, I am still very disappointed in National, another reason to start up and vote for the gummy bears party. And Winston will be gone next election, so the New Zealand First voters may be willing to jump ship.

  3. Brown says:

If the Greens let the small stuff go they will lose their minds but keep their egos and stupidity.

  4. Hi Brown, my friend.

    • KG says:

The whole damn thing looks like a kindergarten squabble. I sure do miss grown-up debate in the media.

  5. KG says:

Speaking of the NZ walking braindead, how are they to be anything else when the media here prints this shit?
‘Doomsday Clock moves, thanks Trump ‘
    https://www.stuff.co.nz/world/americas/100903701/after-missile-scare-and-insult-war-with-north-korea-time-to-check-doomsday-clock

Never mind China’s provocative moves in the South China Sea and India, never mind North Kaorea’s bellicose rhetoric, never mind Pakistan/India tensions…..according to these three widdle girl “reporters”, (why does it take three of them to compose this crap?) it’s all Trump, all the time.
Another lying WashPost lefty propaganda piece, reprinted uncritically by the NZ media. They sure do miss the grovelling Obama’s habit of appeasement and kicking the can down the road so his successors can be blamed when the crap finally hits the fan.

    • KG says:

Having said that, a great comment under an article reprinted from the UK Daily Telegraph:
‘…We are the warriors that have kept the wolves from the gate, the labourĀ that has created the world, the providers for our family’s, the inventors, architects, designers, but now that the hard work is done there is no place for us we should just move aside and sit in the corner until needed. Such is the sad expectations of the modern man. Being male now has a negative value especially if you are a white maleĀ ‘

      • Cadwallader says:

This “Doomsday Clock” carry-on was always a load of garbage. I think it started in the 1950s when paranoia regarding the actions of the Soviet Union was free-flowing in the USA. If it has any degree of accuracy, why isn’t it closing in on another civil war in the USA? Trump & Co Vs the mindless loud rabble who say they oppose him. (Do they really though? Aren’t they too tired and embittered to ever organise even a minor uprising despite the encouragement from their adjunct in the msm?)

  6. Lara says:

The Greens having any power at all, when they lost votes and seats absolutely makes my blood boil, along with NZ First. As stated, hardly anyone voted for either party, yet there they are, both in govt, whilst the largest party sits in the wilderness, and the most voters go unrepresented. MMP is a frigging ugly joke. I hope that the next election is done as though its FPP, and with NZ First now on the ropes re their polling, I reckon it will be. I am hoping the COL of the rejected turns to custard, (they are so useless), and that National rocks home next time, alone. Can’t wait to see the Greens and Winston kicked to the curb by the voters asap; personally I reckon that will be the case. We have an unelected, hard left govt without any real mandate. Politics in this country truly does suck.

  7. KG says:

    What Lara said. Absolutely. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_good.gifhttp://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_good.gif

  8. Allan says:

Totally agree with Lara. MMP is a crock and should be treated with the disdain it deserves. How any party with under 8% of the popular vote can be in the position that the brain dead Greens are in is an insult to Democracy. The sooner MMP is disposed of the better.

    OMG!! The horrror!! http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_cry.gifhttp://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_sad.gif
    Herald headline:
‘Warnings as NZ bakes in 40C weather: Public urged to keep safe as temperatures soar ‘
Bollocks – temperatures are almost all below 30c and they “may” reach 40c in just one region. A great many of the world’s people live perfectly comfortably in such conditions.

Perhaps Kiwis would do better to worry about this kind of thing:

‘Unhealthy bill? $66m for 440 health bosses
The $66 million question – why is it costing so much to run our district health boards?

Taxpayers forked out almost $66 million last year to pay 444 people to run the country’s 20 district health boards.
The bulk of that money, up to $60m, pays for 231 chief executives and their senior executives while 209 board members and four commissioners are paid almost $6m for just 30 days of work each year.
And those costs, to manage and govern DHBs, do not include expenses which amount to hundreds of thousands of dollars…’

    • Pascal says:

The whole West I think has forgotten the meaning of hatchet-man. Seems like a needed image to run for office under, particularly where you are.

      • Well Pascal, when their was a depression in the 1930s, there were those economists who said do nothing and the economy will recover. But there were the Keynesians saying if the government will spend more everything will go well again.

So maybe its because of those Keynesians, that people have forgot about hatchet man. I didn’t even know such a thing exists.

        • Pascal says:

That’s worrisome that even you hadn’t heard the term Warren.
I did a search and this is precisely how I know it.

Someone who makes changes in an organization by getting rid of lots of people.

Those whom “get the axe” (have you heard that term? I’m sure there’s a connection) especially think of it as an unnecessarily harsh way of being terminated.

It is generally someone brought in from outside so as to be totally unknown to the rest of the organization. (Kinda like Americans bringing in Trump. LOL)

Having no personal relationships makes it much less taxing on the Hatchet Man to spot and mercilessly terminate dead-wood. Like those overpaid useless admins KG brought to our attention.

          • Yes Pascal I have heard of being axed and now I see the connection. In this way Trump is like Warren G. Harding, they cut government administration and gave people income tax cuts. Harding lowered it from a top rate of 73% to 24% over 5 years time along with Coolidge.

Also Trump and Harding both raised or promised to raise the tax on tariffs, as part of the deal of lowering income tax. I see history repeating itself. No other president since Coolidge till Trump has been able to cut government spending.

  11. Grog says:

Ronbo can confirm that we have the same lunacy in wa state, origon and kaliforniay, but this lunacy in NZ is 15 orders of magnitude worse than anything here. These “people” who choose to follow such unbalanced drivel should be locked away for attempted destruction of the national economy. Goodbye, NZ.

  12. I’m surprised they didn’t get the Mars Colonization portfolio. What’s up with that!?

    • KG says:

A mere oversight while high on the giddy drugs of power, Colonel. No need to give ’em ideas. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_wink.gif

  13. Hey guys I just heard that in the 1930s Cecil Rhodes bought up every newspaper in the USA. Maybe this explains why we are hearing nonsense in the papers, cause of who it is owned by.
