    REMEMBER PEARL HARBOR

    History in every century
We recall an act that lives forever more
We recall as into night they fall
The things that happened on Hawaii shore

    Let’s remember Pearl Harbor
As we go to meet the foe
    Let’s remember Pearl Harbor
    As we did the Alamo
    We will always remember
    How they died for liberty
    Let’s remember Pearl Harbor
    And go on to victory

    GO FOR BROKE

    Four Forty Second Infantry
We are the boys of Hawaii nei
    We will fight for you
And the red white and blue
    And will go the front
    And back to Honolulu-lu-lu
Fighting for dear old Uncle Sam
Go for broke we don’t give a damn
We will round up the huns
At the point of a gun
    And victory will be ours
Go for broke! Four Four Two!
Go for broke! Four Four Two!
    And victory will be ours.

I think this comment down deep in response to a recent article about Jordan Peterson suggests the wider value of sites like Crusader Rabbit.
The Peterson Principle: Intellectual Complexity and Journalistic Incompetence

    February 16, 2018

This is the article that I wish I could read in the Globe and Mail, Toronto Star or National Post. But instead, I read it on an Australian website! (A really good site at that).

You see, the influence of the SSM is now rapidly waning, lamentably, justifiably due to the last phrase in this link’s title. So what fills the void early on matters.

Thank you KG for starting this place.
Thank you Darin for picking up the baton.

    • Pascal says:

That revealed, in startling fashion, just how shallow and facile much of the media reporting was. Then I imagined what doctors, engineers, physicists, psychologists, lawyers and any informed person thinks of the quality of the stories that touch upon their area of expertise. No wonder people are jaded about journalism today. So much of it is lazy,– and just wrong – so much of the time.

Sites such as this provide us a platform to call out the wrongness that is denied us by the offending SSM outlets.

      • Michael in Nelson says:

Reminds me of a ‘Wizard of Id’ cartoon. A reporter is being ushered in to interview the King. Rodney (the not-so-great knight) tells the reporter that the king will only take yes-or-no questions. The reporter asks “Why?”. Rodney says, “That way we have a 50-50 chance of you reporting his replies correctly.”

      • Fred says:

“So much of it is lazy,– and just wrong – so much of the time.”

True enough but much of it is willful propaganda for the purposes of continuity of state power. The notion that the western press are free report is the biggest of all propaganda lies.

The devil’s greatest deceit is to convince us that he doesn’t exist. The western press is largely state run. That it’s free is it’s greatest deceit.http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_sad.gif

        • Pascal says:

much of it is willful propaganda for the purposes of continuity of state power.

Exactly Fred. It is why I have been referring to the media not as MSM but as SSM — Soviet-Style Media. So far only Gantt Guy and Ed Bonderenka also regularly use that term. Maybe you too will adopt it.

The SSM may indeed be losing its grip, but it’s not fast enough for this crusader!

    http://thefederalist.com/2018/02/16/research-keeps-showing-this-kind-of-teaching-is-very-effective-so-why-wont-schools-use-it/

“It’s a particularly noteworthy finding because the field of education research is well-known for producing especially shoddy, ideology-driven, and therefore untrustworthy work. The social sciences replication crisis is particularly acute in education, meaning that when you hear “research says” in the context of schooling, nearly all of the time what follows is bunk.”

I still don’t understand what direct instruction is. Am I dense or is it not defined well.http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_unsure.gif

Can somebody define it in 2 or 3 sentences please?

      • Darin says:

Bascially teaching the lesson to the student, instead of the current letting the students steer the lesson.
You know, the way teaching has been done for the whole of human history, instead of the touchy feely social engineering way of the last 50 years or so.

    http://thefederalist.com/2018/02/16/we-cant-have-a-debate-about-guns-if-liberals-keep-lying-about-them/#disqus_thread

They want confiscation simple as that, everything else is just noise.

  6. Darin says:

Obama said we can’t drill our way to energy independence,Actually,we did-
    https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2018/02/obama_said_we_cant_drill_our_way_to_energy_independence_actually_we_did.html

“Yet in spite of the restrictive energy policies of the Obama administration, by 2015, the U.S. was the top producer of natural gas (most of the energy released by fracking is in the form of natural gas) in the world, producing about 20% more than runner-up Russia.

Fast-forward to 2016 – Donald Trump is elected president, with a very different energy policy in mind from that of Obama. He wants to increase production by repealing Obama’s fracking rules. He also wants to make more federal land available for drilling – he even included opening up ANWR to drilling for the first time ever, as part of the tax reform bill he signed into law in December 2017.

As a result of Trump’s policies, the U.S. is about to overtake Saudi Arabia and Russia to become the world’s top oil-producer by 2019. Even the once mighty OPEC has been left in the rearview mirror.”

    • Pascal says:

If OPEC is indeed now in the rearview mirror, then the only reason for the State Department to continue to continue on in its Arab-centric policy of the 1930s is either habit or Islamistophilia. If we can prove the latter — well, I’ll let you finish the sentence.

      • Darin says:

It’s not quite that simple,we have a special relationship behind the scenes with the Saudis,as does Israel.

      • Fred says:

I asked my local gov rep that very thing; “Since we are energy independent, why are we still allied with the House of Saud?” But I continued; “What possible good can come from it?”

He wiggled mightily and stammered around and had no good answer, in other words, he lied to me. He’s now running for congress in DC. He’s a worm and will fit in perfectly.http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_negative.gif

        • mawm says:

Quite simply, the alignment is because the Saudis line the pockets of so many politicians. I would have asked him how much he has received as campaign funds or other bribes from them.

Maybe Mueller would like to look into Saudi meddling in US elections. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_scratch.gif

      • mawm says:

And they have not shown any connection between these shit stirrers and the Russian govt or Putin. It’s laughable.

    • Fred says:

I wonder if I’ll be indicted in France. I did mention in social media that I thought Le Pen would be the best choice.

But more importantly this anti Russia thing is wrong of our leaders to promote. The Russian people would be (are) natural allies of white westerners. So why the created boogyman?…money and power…same as always.

      • Darin says:

The western left and the Soviet communists were once allies,or fellow travelers at the very least. The left thought that was still the case, but didn’t realise the Russians had turned the page.

See the Russians,as well as their former eastern bloc satellites after a few generations of living the dream firsthand said to hell with communism after they saw it for the failure it was.

The western left are still true believers. In the case of Hillary and company, remember when Obama took office, relations with Russia had chilled under Bush.Hillary and company thought that they should re-kindle their romance with the “communists” which explains the “reset button”fiasco.Well I can just about bet that Putin had zero respect for Hillary and even less for Obama.

With that in mind and the fact that when Bill Clinton was in office they were well known for giving away the store in order to cut deals and appease enemies.I wonder just what they gave away while she was SoS? We know about the Uranium One deal, but whatelse?

How is it they know so much about Russian hackers? Is it because they had contracted with them to rig the election in her favor and then they crawfished and didn’t deliver?

Furhter evidence that this theory might be the case,is the fact that we don’t know for sure if any funny business went on in the general election. But we do know the democratic primary was most certainly rigged by Hillary and company.
        https://youtu.be/BxX0iK8zsEY

Now,I don’t care one bit for Bernie Sanders, there isn’t a single thing he and I could agree on,however he and his supporters have a right to a fair count in the primary.

While I support Brexit, and all sovereignty, listening to people discuss the merits of one policy or another implemented by the managerial state drives me nuts. Economics used to be the study of the free flow of money, goods, and markets. It’s now been turned into the state run enterprise of wrecking freedom by claiming to help. It’s a sham, even this guy in the video is talking about redirecting money to state run health care. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_unsure.gifWhy not leave the people with their money and let the market work? I’ll tell you why. They have no desire to be out hustled, out worked, or allowing new wealth to be privately created by the little people entrepreneurs. They can’t allow the average people to out do them (those self proclaimed owners of everything because we’re so smart and you’re a peon). In America 90 percent of new millionaires are first generation. This drives the left nuts. The notion that some little nobody from the hills of Kentucky can make it big eats at them like a worm.

Of course England has long enjoyed a caste system, although they now deny that it exists.

  13. KG says:

An offensive, stupid and dishonest item:
‘Are female-led companies the answer to sexual misconduct?’

    http://www.nzherald.co.nz/business/news/article.cfm?c_id=3&objectid=11997411

When in fact allegations of sexual misconduct are rife, but the real cases of it are relatively uncommon. “Sexual misconduct” can now be any unwanted advance or not-suitably-framed contact between male and female. What’s “suitable” being defined by women, of course…Men are subject to unwanted advances, but they don’t go whining for attention and revenge as a result of them. We don’t hear about those cases in the media.
Female led companies are a recipe for poor performance, hiring practices based on emotion and discrimination against men.
Grow up, girls (I nearly said “ladies” but that would be inaccurate) get an effing life and learn some honesty and principles.
And men, stop behaving like honorary women and stop apologising for being men. These hysterical females ain’t worth the dignity of a polite response.

    • Darin says:

“And men, stop behaving like honorary women and stop apologising for being men”
Exactly! And like Jordan Peterson said,we also need sane women to speak up and put their crazy sisters back in their place.

    • Fred says:

‘Are female-led companies the answer to sexual misconduct?’

The question used to be; Are companies the answer to providing high quality goods and services that improve the quality of life for those who both make the products and those who use them in the voluntary free exchange of an open market?

‘For profit corporation as social justice’ is, well, http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_whistle3.gifI won’t say it that way, I’ll just say that it’s willfully stupid. Of course commies got to commie and any way to destroy prosperity is a good way.

I didn’t think an academic would be needed to figure this out. I enjoy meeting people in their seventies who are still embarking on new business ventures or continuing to develop and enhance their life’s work, without an apparent concern for their advancing years. If two beers are good, three must be better, right? Even they have been brow beaten by this 1 or 2 drinks BS. I’m not advocating excessive drunkeness but there is no evidence that 3 or 4 or even 5 drinks a night are any worse than 1 or 2.

Benefit fraud of $36,580.19. Sentenced to 5 months community detention. Of course it’s one of those feminist social justice judges.

Judge Bridget Mackintosh said the amount of money was not insignificant but added both defendants came well within the range for electronically monitored sentences.

“Benefit fraud is a serious offence.

“Of course, it involves a breach of trust because it is the taxpayers that are paying the benefits and, of course, if you’re telling lies you get money you’re not entitled to; money that is hard-earned by members of the community.”

She sentenced both defendants to five months’ community detention, with curfews of 6pm to 6am Monday to Sunday, and also imposed nine months of supervision on Hibben and 80 hours of community work on Roberts.

There is no requirement for him to pay back what he has taken, he will not adhere to the curfew and of course the community work will never get done! So all in all his sentence is nothing at all.
