Why 536 AD was a very bad year-

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-6397621/Why-536-AD-worst-year-alive.html

Bubonic plague, famine, war and flu pandemics have made some periods of human history infamous for death and suffering but one year stands above the rest in terms of misery; 536AD.

According to research from a Harvard professor, it is a prime candidate for the unfortunate accolade of the worst year in the entirety of recorded history.

Europe, the Middle East, and parts of Asia were plunged into 18 months of solid darkness by a mysterious fog.

It caused snowfall in China, continental-scale crop failure, extreme drought, famine and disease throughout most of the northern hemisphere.

The bleak year was triggered by a cataclysmic Icelandic eruption, scientists say, and was an ominous omen for a bleak century of suffering and death.

The thing is, there’s absolutely no reason to suppose it couldn’t happen again at any time.

    These people are insane.

  5. Hi KG
This is just to let you know I have now put my blog ‘the conservative’ back online. What started out to be a short break ended up about 3 years. Had to pretty much start again from scratch. Now doing videos — work in progress.

    • KG says:

Great! Welcome back Terry and may the blog prosper again. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif

Darin now owns CR, and it couldn’t be in better hands.

By the way, KG, I (not exactly I) got a wild pig the other day. People keep telling me that you have to walk miles to get them. Not, so; I have had them (a boar, a sow, and a litter of piglets) in my back yard recently. If I had a gun, I could shoot them from my balcony. Anyway I got I hunter in with dogs and he had the sow within minutes. He cut a leg off for us, so we will try that this weekend..yum

    South Africa is done-

    https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/world-news/743025/south-africa-land-seizures-white-farmers-constitutional-change

Europe had better get ready, there will be a lot more “mirgrants” headed their way.

    • mawm says:

SA farmers, typical of farmers everywhere, have massive bank loans and mortgages. Hmmm… I wonder what’s going to happen when these farmers are kicked off their land…. Personally I hope that First National Bank in SA, which was a rebranding of Barclays Bank in SA but still with British ownership, is the first to fail – they supported the anti South African forces and the Marxist ANC, they supported these Marxist thugs and kleptocrats. *spit* Unfortunately the farmers know about Barclays/First National and very few will have had dealings with them.

      • Darin says:

This marxist stupidity will colapse the SA economy, that much is certain.Who will invest or have dealings with them after? The Chinese won’t even do business with countries where property rights have no meaning.

Misguided environmentalism to blame for California’s fire problem

    • KG says:

 I thought it was President Trump?

      • mawm says:

It is the same as with those South Australia fires – overzealous and misinformed Greenies disallowed the clearing of scrub and dead wood which is perfect kindling. Unfortunately nobody is held responsible when it is a “progressive error”. It is time they were held accountable and charged with causing their deaths!

          • Darin says:

Yes,when the fuel load increases so does the temperature and duration of the fire.So when land that was formerly burned over very quickly with a realtively cool flame front, suddenly sees a slow moving, intense flame front.Everything dies and the soil is sterilized.

  9. Darin says:

The Mexicans have had enough of the “migrants” too-

    https://dailycaller.com/2018/11/16/tijuana-mayor-migrant-caravan-horde/

“Tijuana is a city of immigrants, but we don’t want them in this way,” the mayor, a member of the conservative National Action Party, said. “It was different with the Haitians, they carried papers, they were in order. It wasn’t a horde, pardon the expression.”

Gastelum called on the Mexican government to deport the caravan migrants as soon as possible.

“You’re going to tell me we have to respect human rights,” he said. “But human rights are for law-abiding humans”

Me and Gecko lived here for a while, and the idea of making it crocodile-free is pure fantasy:
    https://www.stuff.co.nz/travel/news/108691772/fading-australian-town-must-stop-all-the-crocs-to-pull-in-tourists

    • Darin says:

Ya,that’s like many a tourist town in Florida being “Alligator free”that’s never gonna happen either.Best option is a few nice fenced in swimming pools at the hotels and just tell people to inform their next of kin before they go swimming outside the hotel pool.

      On the otherhand-
“Crocodile populations have soared across northern Australia following bans on hunting in the Seventies. In the Northern Territory, there were about 3000 saltwater crocodiles when a hunting ban was imposed in 1971. Today there are thought to be 100,000”

Sounds like a business oportunity for the locals if they could get a carve out in the hunting ban for limited culls.A friend of mine went on a hunt in Tanzania,at the time the price to bag a Croc was $25,000 USD.Seems inflation has pushed the prices up a bit-

      https://www.bookyourhunt.com/crocodile-hunting-in-tanzania

      • KG says:

From what we’ve seen, Darin, the 100,000 figure is way too conservative. Especially in the wet season, when they come down south from the Gulf country.

        • Darin says:

          They migrate?

          • KG says:

Well, given the right conditions – and every good wet season provides ideal conditions – they’ll fan out over thousands of square miles.
I once passed one in the dry season on a bare blacksoil plain nearly 15km from the nearest waterhole, headed towards that waterhole. And he was moving at a fair clip, all 12-15ft of him.
            They can get around.

Leeds Trinity University: Capital Letters Trigger Students
Leeds Trinity University in the United Kingdom has told its lecturers to avoid using capital letters in their classroom handouts because they upset students, and can “scare students into failure.”

Needless panic at immigration has revived nationalism in Europe.’

Dwyer is a hard left piece of shit who has been peddling lies and propaganda for decades. Which masters has he produced this garbage for?
And the Herald NEVER publishes the countervailing view. Herr Goebbels would have approved.

    https://www.ft.com/content/88a475c6-ed37-11e8-89c8-d36339d835c0

Scott Morrison at least has some balls and joins the US, Austria and Hungry in refusing to sign up to this abomination. I wonder where our illegitimate NZ government will take us because if they sign up to it it will be the end of the special class visa New Zealanders enjoy which enables them to freely move to Australia.

More on the “Compact” in the videos linked to in Vlad Tepes Blog.

  19. KG says:

    From Breitbart, re Thanksgiving:
Free speech is increasingly imperiled as nations around the world turn to authoritarianism, which comes packaged as everything from iron-fisted dictatorial rule to coercive “progressivism.” One thing every brand of authoritarianism has in common is speech codes. Dissenting ideas dilute authority, so they must be suppressed. We should be thankful for the free speech that remains, and rise from our Thanksgiving tables prepared to fight for it.

  20. Grog says:

Belated good thoughts to all for Thanksgiving day. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_bye.gif

  21. Pascal says:

Watch how Fox News has trained its hosts to react in a PC manner. Mr. NPC instantly apologized to the viewers for “inappropriate language,” and removed the “offender” from the screen. Here is the incident you may see reported elsewhere at length.

Here is the ‘offensive’ line: “Yeah, she [Hillary Clinton] won’t go away. She’s like herpes.” Anna Paulina, director of Hispanic Engagement at Turning Point USA.

A conservative Latina silenced entirely, de-platformed immediately for that quip, one that the host himself set up? Whoa. FNC = radical DNC.

    • Grog says:

chuckling, mr. interviewer whatzhisnutz actually reacted quickly with a prompt from off screen, so fox is no different from msnbc, no surprise there, most of us already knew that anyway.
