  4. Michael in Nelson says:

KG, I was in the Napier airport today and saw a copy of the Saturday Herald. There was a piece in the World section that denigrated Trump by beginning with the canard that there is no crisis at the US southern border. I was going to find it in the electronic version tonight when I got home but I can’t find it. You might be able to locate it. The first sentence has for inaccuracies and at least one outright lie. Can you find it and put up a link? I think it will show non-New Zealanders why Americans get so much grief here.

    • KG says:

I’m sure you have the time and resources to do that, Michael.
      I have neither.

      • Michael in Nelson says:

Well, that’s interesting. The Herald is not sole anywhere in the South Island. I still can’t locate the item I saw in the Saturday edition but it is just a repeat of Democrat talking points as reworded by the Leftist media.

The particular focus will be on school aged boys.If they don’t go along with all the “toxic masculinity is evil” nonsense, they will be persecuted by the staff and probably presrcibed some meds to adjust their behavior.

Older men will be “written off” because, well, not being led around like a sheep and swallowing their nonsense will be labeled “problematic”

I am steadily developing a seething hatred for these man hating feminist cunts

    • Pascal says:

Peterson (JBP) has already called out his own profession for this canard that the association had adopted. I’m surprised the author didn’t make note of that even as he used JBP’s special appeal to young men to help set up his story.

I’ll accept the possibility that because this is dated 11 January, more than a week ago, that the criticism I read by JBP was contemporaneous with this author’s. I surely hope so.

And Darin really nailed who the targets are. And if the misandrists can push the parents out of the way they can even force a few young boys (who exhibit a smidgen of tranny behavior) to be sterilized irreversibly.

    • mawm says:

There is a vast difference between psychologists and psychiatrists (except maybe in America where non-medical practitioners often refer to themselves as “psychiatrists). The problem is with psychologists where the self-opiniated pontificate about behaviour of the masses from small, ivory tower studies that are set up to get a certain result. It’s all mumbo jumbo.

That said, psychiatry has been an inexact science which has made massive advances over the last couple of decades as scientists unravel the function of the brain at a cellular and molecular level, and the anomalies thereof that causes of mental disease.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Hundreds of peoplehttp://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_cry.gif took to the streets of downtown Los Angeles for the third-annual Women’s March.

Men and women carrying homemade signs filled Pershing Square as they kicked off the Saturday morning march to Grand Park. [That’s four whole blocks! Oh the pain!]

The original march in 2017, the day after President Donald Trump’s inauguration, drew hundreds of thousands of people to Washington and dozens of other cities. Turnout for this year is expected to be lower as the movement’s founders cope with an ideological split.

An ideological split? How about a idiotic script? http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif

    What’s happening in Zimbabwe?
The government has shut down the internet and international text messages but leaks are coming out of violent and murderous repression taking place by the military and police. There are stories of torture and summary executions, hospitals without supplies or workers, blocked roads, rioting, etc. on facebook.
Apparently this all started after Zuva Petroleum, partially owned by President Mnangagwa, bought a large amount of fuel and just after that a 250% rise in fuel price was announced. Mnangagwa has left Zim and General Constantino Chiwenga (along with Mnangagwa one of the troika of thugs behind Mugabe) has unleashed the army.

      • Pascal says:

In a way it is. The 3rd commandment — “do not take the Lord’s name in vain” — is too frequently extended to mean don’t say things from OMG through GD. But it is intended to warn against claiming you are doing God’s work while feathering your own nest. Virtue signalling is in that category even if done by an atheist.

What’s the reason? Because it calls all virtuous deeds into question — “what’s your angle buster?” It increases cynicism and reduces our inclination to do whatever is virtuous even without personal gain. You know “virtue is its own reward” loses to self interest too often as it is. Using God’s name in vain diminishes faith in hoping all that is good will eventually correct wrongs that are done. Dante found such sinners in the greater depths of hell.

        • KG says:

          Where the bastards truly belong.

          • Pascal says:

            I agree KG.

There are those who would tell us we condemn ourselves us for holding that view. Let me express why they cannot be right. God does not expect us to be perfect, but to strive for excellence, and having good judgment or relying upon those who seem to have good judgment is the key to all this.

I pray that my writing what I did above and what I just did won’t earn me a ticket to there.

I cannot know how God thinks and works, so I cannot speak for Him. But He gave me a sense of decency that I strive, often with difficulty, to let guide me.

Yes, those who attempt to claim a moral high ground while knowing they are doing it for personal gain really deserve to pay, because those who fall for their BS too often wind up paying a huge price for buying what the schemers were selling.

It sure seems as if those who mislead while disguised as virtuous are indeed the worst. I pray that such judgment is not held against me or anyone else who comes to that logical conclusion.

I cannot help but feel there is some mistranslation to the warning “judge not lest yee be judged.”

God gave us a brain, and we are intended to use it. Surely if we are to be judged upon whether or not we took the right path, we are expected to judge what is the wrong one.

I will allow that those trying to prevent us from arriving at the correct judgment could themselves have been misled. And I will even allow that we are tested in this life, so that those who tempt us to travel down the wrong path also fit into the Divine plan. But those who revel in the fact that they have company in their sinning and the more the better they feel about themselves, they definitely belong where those who love evil belong.

That is a bit longer than I expected to get on the subject. But as one who strives to behave decently despite having fallen short of what I know is the mark, what I have written is a form of repentance for those shortcomings.

When one realizes they made a terrible mistake, the decent thing is to pay the price and resolve not to repeat the error. That is our path in this world because we are not perfect.

However it is the definition of evil to try and get others to make the same error, either because misery loves company, or simply for sport. Those traveling this last path are the ones who belong there, IMHO.

    • Pascal says:

I suspect the only reason we are learning of this downside of attempting clean up the waste has far more to do with the power of which the global elitists wish to have more.

‘See? No matter what we do to clean up after the peons, there is always a downside. We must reinforce our resolve to reduce their numbers, be it by phony wars, antibiotics overused to the point of ineffectiveness, coerced imposition of anti-natal lifestyles whenever they fail to choose those lifestyles on their own, chemical and imposed sterilizations, or destruction of food production with the outcome similar to 1931-32 Ukraine.

The 20th Century proved large numbers can be eliminated over a very short time-span. We simply need to neutralize all opposition and we can be down to half a billion world wide in almost no time at all.’

“The two richest New Zealanders – Graeme Hart and Richard Chandler – increased their wealth by over $1 billion in the 2017-2018 financial year, a new Oxfam International report says, but the poorest 50 per cent became poorer still.”

This does not equate to what the title says and in fact the source they quote, Credit Suisse Wealth Databook, actually shows wealth inequality in New Zealand falling, from 72.3 to 70.8 according to the Gini coefficient. Oxfam is a sickening little Marxist campaign group, and to make matters worse our deep-thinking Prime Minister will be meeting with Oxfam’s International Director in Davos. Armed with this “knowledge” our PM is sure to fire the first shots for Cullen’s Tax working group’s soon to be announced Capital Gains Tax plans. Recall Cullen and his “rich pricks” comment.

Also from the Stuff article on Jacinda’s meeting in Davos -“”They will be discussing the issues women face. The way that misogyny excludes women from working opportunities. The global report highlights that globally men own 50 per cent more of the total wealth than women.”

She said she hoped that New Zealand would take a leadership role in the creation of a new UN international tax body.””
