The petition.

The media won’t publicise this petition, that’s for sure. More gun control – by whatever means possible and facts be damned – is just fine by the socialists who are exploiting mass hysteria.

The petition is here.

Update:

This morning’s NZ Herald headline surely has to mark a shameful turning point for Kiwis’ illusions about freedom.

Ardern to gun owners: Surrender your weapons now, before law changes

  1. Shocked, Shocked I tell you…

  2. Warren Tooley says:

I just signed the petition. They are simply taking away our right to defend ourselves from them.

I’m left wondering just how many Kiwis would step up for freedom, Warren, even if they knew about the petition..

      • Warren Tooley says:

The problem KG, is Kiwis want security first. America was birthed on a don’t trust the government keep them accountable. Whereas NZ is all about the government is meant to take care of me.

Just getting people to realise the government is not on your side, would be a mission in itself. And that’s the problem. So maybe a few. My guess 3 to 5 per 100.

        • KG says:

They don’t seem to realise thay governments can NEVER provide security for society.
That has to come from a thinking, independent people who hold the government and bureaucrats to account.
          Slim chance of that….
Instead we have mass displays of emotional incontinence from people addicted to soap operas and trivia, to baubles and trinkets and gossip.

        • paul scott says:

Warren , yes that fundamental difference between our arm chair dwellers in front of the TV, the Sate is here to tax everyone and look after me, is so different as you say to the USA experience of self control and a certain self sovereignty. Imagine say getting some one like Ol’ Remus over here and showing him the garbage our soft cabbages write. He’d probably set up a photo of the horse’s mouth for target practice.

          • Warren Tooley says:

Yes Paul Scott, it will take something like that. A rude awakening, to get people to see sense.

I’m glad, someone is with me.

  3. mara says:

If the petition were widely known about, right now, it would be widely denounced. Have you barfed yet at coverage by MSM about saintly hijabed Jacinda and the religion of peace? Thanks for the link. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_rose.gif

    • KG says:

I sure have, Mara. Gecko simply refuses to go to either site now, too.
      Good to see you.http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_smile.gif

  4. Pascal says:

Her closing lines: “If you cannot see how this is clearly all going to play out, you’re a fool; or worse, like the media, a pawn.”

One of the things she shows is at the 8 minute point. Jordan Peterson tweeted “The pathology of identity politics on the extreme right” followed by a link to the NZ shooting as if the shooter is from there (far from it).

Thus she designates that Peterson’s a pawn of the collapse the shooter had said he was trying to bring about ( I guess since Peterson is clearly no everyday fool).

Listen to her analysis of the cynical elements of the shooter’s manifesto to see that she is pretty much on mark here.

Since I’ve been a fan of Peterson, I find no joy in passing this along.

    • KG says:

      Nailed it!
Yet the NZ media won’t allow people to see his manifesto and merely describe it as an “incoherant rant”. I recall they did the same with Anders Breivik and Timothy McVeigh, too. Perhaps they’re simply too dimwitted to understand it?
Silence truth and all you’ll hear next is the sound of the guns.

  5. KG says:

Freedom of movement has changed dramatically
Perspective: during 2017 disciples of Islam killed at least 84,023 people in 66 countries. While global natural disasters during 2016 cost $92 billion, Islamic terrorism costs $141 billion—both numbers are higher for 2018. Almost all travel has been hampered via security measures during the last three decades. Even a street fair in an Australian rural town today must have both ends of the street blocked by heavy earth moving equipment to thwart a possible terror attack. Immigration policies of the West have consistently ignored the encroaching threat and continue to do so.

  6. Dogs returning to their vomit is what comes to mind here.

No matter the issue, Western politicians race to gun control, racism, white supremacy, climate change, socialized medicine, regime change, diversity, immigration, globalism, slavery, smallpoxed blankets, pollution, sustainable energy, and celebration of perversion and abortion. Islam a 1400-year mortal threat to infidels? Never mention this perverted idea again!

Sen. Anning is 100% right but politicians, academics, and journalists would rather stab themselves with an ice pick than entertain that idea.

Coverage and fortitude were once two of our cardinal virtues but now it’s a race to see who can abase herself the fastest.

    • paul scott says:

Another thing Colonel is that everyone, but everyone, has to rush in with an analysis of these things. I thought Peterson would have enough brains to shut up, but maybe celebrity status has him in its grip. I am here in Christchurch and I wish the bloody helicopters would just land somewhere and keep quiet. This is a great time to realise how much better it is when you don’t watch TV or read the newspapers

  7. Yokel says:

Just asking for a friend … the servers for CR do record all their visitor and poster logs to dev null, don’t they?

    • KG says:

They’re supposed to, Yokel. But I wouldn’t put money on it any more since WordPress has grown to be more intrusive and dictatorial of late. (Installing updates automatically, making changes the blog owner doesn’t necessarily want)
Becoming more google – like by the day,

  8. K2 says:

I predict a spate of unfortunate and regrettable canoe accidents in which the gun owner’s collection got dumped overboard.

    • KG says:

Wouldn’t that be simply awful! Especially since all that ammo went with them.
      *shudders*

  9. Pascal says:

Proper response to “Ardern to gun owners: Surrender your weapons now, before law changes.”

Ardern as you were elected by an utterly small number of voters you have no right to be speaking as if you are NZ’s popular dictator. Shut your pie hole before you lose your head.

    • Lara says:

She is cynically over egging it. Treats Kiwis like dumbed down morons. Hope it all backfires on the dyed in the wool commie tart. Makes me seethe…

      • KG says:

        http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_good.gifhttp://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_good.gif
Some uncomforable questions were beginning to be asked about this ersatz government, so this has arrived as manna from heaven for her and her hysterical girlie supporters.
It’s a twofer – advance the leftist ban guns agenda and tap into a wave of manufactured, shallow grief in order to virtue-signal. Teddy bears and candles, that’ll really fix the problem of extremism, right?
“The greatest tyrannies are always perpetrated in the name of the noblest causes.”
        — Thomas Paine

  10. KG says:

    Damn right, Pascal. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_good.gif

An interesting aside…the censorship of Brenton Tarrant’s manifesto. It’s close to complete, a blanket ban. All we have is the media and politicians’ condemnation and very selective interpretaion of it. Last time I looked, Kiwis were supposed to have the right to receive and impart information free of censorship.
Self-censoring by a gutless, lockstep leftist media is effectively – in this country at least – censorship nonetheless because there are no conservative online news media here.
I eventually found it on a Russian search engine.

I have zero sympathy for Tarrant and others killers like him of whatever political/ideological persuasion they may be BUT READING WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY IS MY CHOICE AND MY RIGHT.
Were islamist killers and their advocates silenced to the same degree I would be equally disgusted.
No free speech = no liberty at all.

  11. tom hull says:

Now we are to have 2 minutes silence on Friday, not only that but radio nz will broadcast the muzzie call to prayer no less.I will be cutting the lawn at the time

    • KG says:

      G’day Tom.
      I’ll be running a chainsaw. Flat-out.
Muzzie call to prayer, eh? Practicing for when NZ becomes part of the calphate, no doubt. Can the fawning get any worse?
Just tried clicking on your site:
‘Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.’
Funny how aften we’re getting that message….

      • Anonymous says:

Hi KG,Hope your chainsaw made plenty of noise. As for me the bloody mower would not start, would you believe it,never happened in 20 bloody years, bastard thing

          • KG says:

:mrgreen:I sure know a thing or two about bastard mowers, Tom.
Yup there was certainly no two minutes of silence around here, I forgot it was running, you see, thinking about hundreds of burned churches and 42,000 Christians killed in 2018…..

    • D.T. says:

Just checked it . tom is absolutely correct . How much can she kowtow to the moslem minority ? Disgusting.http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_wacko.gifhttp://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_wacko.gif

  12. Warren Tooley says:

Another annoying thing is that Simon Bridges, says he will cooperate to make any changes to our gun laws that will make things safer. He said ‘anything’, so there goes your gun rights and that’s with National.

Also Ardern said semi automatics. Yet the Herald’s headline says guns. Guns is general it means any and all guns. Yet its Semi’s that she’s wanting to make and ‘immediate’ law change on.

The Herald is taking something really bad and making it much worse. I do expect they will eventually get rid of all guns, but the Herald are themselves pushing this. They aren’t journalists of facts, they are clowns with the opinions of Marxists, calling themselves a Newspaper.

  13. Warren Tooley says:

Another thing which bothers me is that Simon Bridges-National has said he also wants to reform gun laws and will do ‘anything’ to make things more safe. Anything means it will go beyond the end of semi-automatics folks.

So its not just Labour, its also National.

  14. Warren Tooley says:

Also, what is a big concern is that Simon Bridges also wants to change gun laws.

  15. Meatloaf says:

    Hello there.

    • KG says:

Good morning, Meatloaf. How come you share Warren’s ip addy?

      • Warren Tooley says:

Hi KG, last night I made a post which got blocked, about the shootings. So since then I’ve posted some other comments, under Warren and someone else.

Those messages didn’t get blocked only the ones on certain information about the shootings, whether under ML or Warren. My messages are being monitored.

So it was just to see what is going on.

        • KG says:

Thanks Warren. Certainly, nothing you write here would be blocked by the CR software. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_scratch.gif

          • Darin says:

Nothing here, but there have been reports of LAN blocks in you guy’s locale.Welcome to the PRNZ

            • Pascal says:

Yes, I experienced that sort of blockage when staying at a Residence Inn in Sunnyvale California around 2005. I found a way around it by using an anonymizer. That same anonymizer did not work the next time I was in town, but I found another.

  16. Warren Tooley says:

Simon Bridges is also for a change in gun law, so its not just Ardern who is doing this.

  17. Meatloaf says:

Simon Bridges also wants a change in gun laws, so its not just Ardern and Labour who is doing this.

  18. Darin says:

So at this point if the Chicoms took over New Zealand you would have-
    Less censorship
    No pandering to muslims
    Probably the same gun rights
Somebody has lost the script http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_scratch.gif

    • KG says:

Perhaps it’s a case of “none so devout as the convert” Darin. http://falfn.com/CrusaderRabbit/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_unsure.gif
Oh, and this, just in via The Australian:
A man has set alight a bus full of school children on the outskirts of Milan in an apparent protest against migrant drownings in the Mediterranean.
All the children managed to escape unhurt before the bus was engulfed in flames on Wednesday.
Italian police said the driver was an Italian of Senegalese origin.’

  19. Grog says:

Appears that now there’s a lot of new criminals in NZ with the ZH story, and as mentioned above, no one will list the manifesto, because that doesn’t agree with the narrative. This was a false flag, as everyone here knows by now.

    https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-03-21/new-zealand-bans-guns-after-mass-shooting-all-military-style-and-assault-rifles

    • Pascal says:

The shooter’s manifesto not only completely contradicts the narrative, Grog, but her gun confiscation measures makes Ardern an accomplice after the fact as revealed by that manifesto. And the media, by hiding it, have become her accomplice.

Ardern is fulfilling the mass murderer’s wish in that her irrational edict will result in many more deaths in future should she insist that law enforcement follow through.

She also endorses what the murderer did due to inevitable consequences from the stupid but possible outcome should she attain wide-spread compliance. Because then the fools who give up their self protection will be sitting ducks for whomever comes shooting next.
