        My phone provider has been increasing the pressure to buy a new 5G capable phone since early spring.
        This week I had a phone call from them pitching the new service. I told them I wasn’t interested. They told me that after Jan 1st, 2021 my current phone would no longer work and that I would have to upgrade.
        I said, no, I won’t have to upgrade. To which I got a “Sir, I’m sorry,but if you don’t upgrade, you won’t have any service”
        To which I said, no, I won’t upgrade, I have lived most of my life without a cell phone, I can live the remainder of it without one too.
        They didn’t have an answer for that one :mrgreen:

          Darin, I have not had a cell phone since 2000, it was just for a few months when I lived in the big city – what an annoyance that was… glad I got rid of it and so very glad I never had another since, my life works just fine without one… track me if you can skynet…

            Victor, the only reason I have one is I need one for work. If it wasn’t for that it would already be gone. I think I’m going to start leaving it at work and only carry it on travel.

    Auckland to go into level 3 lockdown, the remainder of the country into level 2.

      I was supposed to go to Auckland for work in the first week of September. I doubt the panic will have subsided by then. Remind me again, what was the mortality rate from this? I’ll bet the Health service lets more people die each year because it’s too expensive to treat them.

          Anyone who uses terms like global, humanity, climate, collective, save the world, are stunted imbeciles whose arrogance assumes they have the ability and the calling to fix the rest of us. It likely comes from a psychopathy and a poor relationship with parents, particularly the father. Hence they need to fix the world, because their life is f-d.

      And many blacks that know her don’t like Kamala one bit. For one she’s only 1/4 black and when she was a prosecutor she had a habit of sending innocent black men to prison on a routine basis.
