World Vision

yet another “charity” racket:
‘..Andrew Geoghegan has sponsored Tsehaynesh for a decade and yet she claims she was unaware, until recently, that she had a sponsor and says the only benefit she has ever received directly from World Vision is a pen and the denim jacket she wore on the day of filming.’

  1. I did this sponsorship thing for around three years, the progress reports were better than what these people got. But eventually i came to the realization that it’s probably better to leave Africans to sort out their own problems.

The way i see it why would they ever drag themselves out of their holes when there is always a westerner hanging around to tell them it’s not their fault, I’m guilty and here’s some money to make myself feel better.

For decades westerners, mostly white people to give credit where its due, have given varying levels of billions in aid and money to Africa, one thing that hasn’t changed is that the hand still remains extended asking for more.

We’re slowly coming to the realization that welfare in the west isn’t working, so why would it work elsewhere. We are after all pretty much the same aren’t we.

      Yep.
