I mentioned earlier in a comment that the democrat’s/leftist’s plan is to turn every major US city into a copy of Detroit, Michigan. They do this by forcing and amplifying racial and economic divides that normally could be overcome by even moderate economic growth in those communities. It’s been proven that all other things being equal, when jobs and opportunity of wealth creation are within reach in a given population, the instances of racial and class strife are greatly reduced, if not eliminated outright.
Their most effective tool for destroying a city, is to attack industry. Reducing the number of jobs available through regulation and taxation is the normal method, combined with divisive polices and talk from political leaders designed to create class envy.
Those methods take time however, so the fall back is a good ole fashioned race riot. The dems are terrified of the fact that Trump has enacted policies that have directly improved the lives of black and Latino voters to the point that their typical race baiting tactics have all but failed. No, they are desperate and they needed something faster.

“The owner of a manufacturing company in Minneapolis that was burned to the ground during last week’s violent riots has announced that he is relocating his company, taking dozens of jobs out of the city, due to the failure of the city’s Democrat leaders to protect businesses.“They don’t care about my business,” Kris Wyrobek, president and owner of 7-Sigma Inc., told the Star Tribune. “They didn’t protect our people. We were all on our own.”As he watched a nearby business burn to the ground, Wyrobek noted, “The fire engine was just sitting there, but they wouldn’t do anything.””
“The city’s first survey of property damage shows that nearly 1,000 commercial properties in Minneapolis were damaged during the riots, including 52 businesses that were completely destroyed and 30 other locations that sustained severe damage,” The Star Tribune reported. “Owners and insurance experts estimate the costs of the damage could exceed $500 million. That would make the Twin Cities riots the second-costliest civil disturbance in U.S. history, trailing only those in Los Angeles in 1992, which were also sparked by racial tensions with police and had $1.4 billion in damages in today’s dollars.”
Wyrobek told The Star Tribune that it was too late to change his mind about keeping his company in the city, adding that before the riots, he never in his “wildest nightmare” would have thought about relocating his business.
It’s an old tactic, as old as war itself-“When your enemy goes to ground, leave no ground to go to” The left has become desperate, these riots were cooked up to do two things- One attack Trump and reduce his popularity among minority voters and two, punish those voters by making an example of those who stepped out of line.
The dems and their leftist allies have literally turned to a scorched Earth policy and like everything else they do, they are wrong and they will fail eventually. However, now is when they are most dangerous, because instead of learning from their mistakes, they will double down on them.
More evidence suggests the Coronavirus outbreak began much earlier than previously believed-
The group “observed a dramatic increase in hospital traffic outside five major Wuhan hospitals beginning late summer and early fall 2019,” Dr. John Brownstein, who led the Harvard medical team, told ABC news. He is the chief innovation officer at Boston Children’s Hospital as well as the director of the medical center’s Computational Epidemiology Lab.
Brownstein is also an ABC News contributor. He told ABC News that the traffic also “coincided with” internet searches for “certain symptoms that would later be determined as closely associated with the novel coronavirus.”
“Something was happening in October,” Brownstein told ABC News. “Clearly, there was some level of social disruption taking place well before what was previously identified as the start of the novel coronavirus pandemic.”
In a unanimous 7-0 decision, the Michigan Supreme Court sided with 77-year-old barber Karl Manke over Gov. Gretchen Whitmer on Friday.
Great Lakes News reported on Facebook late Friday that the Court ruled unanimously in favor of the Owosso barber — a stunning decision, given the narrow 4-3 ideological split in favor of conservatives. According to Great Lakes News, Manke’s attorney, David Kallman, called it the “biggest, most lopsided victory of his career.”

Some thieves in South Africa tunneled into a booze store in order to get their hands on some alcohol.
According to a Monday report from TimesLive, the thieves tunneled into a Shoprite in Johannesburg to steal “whisky, brandy, gin, ciders, vodka and beer.”
