   The author is correct,they don’t read,ever,and they are less than skin deep in depth.It also isn’t just those under 40,all age groups on the left have the same characteristics.They only know what they know and damned if anyone can tell them they are wrong.

   The variety that show up in online comments and forums are especially thick headed.All they know to do is spit out the same left wing talking points like a bunch of retarded Pez dispensers.

   In person it should be legal to just haul back and bitch slap the stupid monkeys based on the principal that stupidity should be painful.

   Darin’s right, it isn’t just the young. There was a conversation at work yesterday about Gough Whitlam dying, and the conversation drifted around over various Australian PMs and eventually got to Abbott.

   “Oh, I hate him” said some dumpy, middle-aged, childless twat who’s only ever been to Australia on holiday.

   “Hate seems like a strong word”, says I, “How come?”

   “Oh he’s awful! He’s a racist and a misogynist”.

   “Wow, really? I lived there for a decade and I never saw or heard any of that. What makes you think he’s a racist and a misogynist?”

   “Well, he hates the refugees, and he won’t have women in his Cabinet.”

   “Oh, OK. So, because since the Coalition came to power, people from the third world have stopped paying thousands to hop on rickety boats in Indonesia and then die at sea, you think he hates refugees? How about this: since no queue-jumpers are dying at sea and Australia has actually increased its legitimate refugee intake under Abbott, he actually likes refugees and doesn’t want to see their corpses floating in the sea off Christmas Island? And while we’re talking about race, let’s talk about the Aboriginal people. Kevin Rudd, when he was PM, did a number of photo-ops in Outback communities. Flew in, flew out. Tony Abbott for many years has used at least a couple of weeks of his annual leave each year actually living in outback communities and working with Aboriginal people.

   So, we’ve established that he is not, in fact, racist. What about this misogyny thing?”

   “Well, he doesn’t have women in his Cabinet. And, he said that he would make himself Minister of Women’s Affairs!”

   “Hmmm. OK, he doesn’t have women in his Cabinet. Have you met by chance Julie Bishop, the Deputy PM and Minister of Foreign Affairs who just gave Vladimir Putin a swift kick up the arse? And let’s not forget Abbott has a wife who’s an accomplished physician and three smart, educated, beautiful daughters. And a sister who’s a lesbian. And the most feared Chief of Staff – also a woman – possibly in the history of the Australian Parliament!

   So we’ve established he is in fact not a racist, nor a misogynist. What he is, is a man of character and integrity. A volunteer surf lifesaver. A volunteer firefighter. A volunteer in rural outback communities. A committed family man. And, yes, a Christian.”

   “But but but, well I just don’t like him.”

   “Hmmm. Perhaps you should stop getting your news about Australia from the ABC and TVNZ?”

   The Left: No ability to think critically, argue coherently or converse without epithet since, like, forever.

         Thanks! I normally ignore it, but sometimes the slime of progliberalism needs the cleansing flood of the logic firehose.

         I doubt I changed anyone’s mind, but I got it off my chest and they’ll know better than the demonstrate their stupidity in such close proximity to me again!

           the flip side of this coin is the same reasoning who “they” hold in high regard..ie/. shallow ,baseless – and just because it’s “trendy” to like them.
           Just saw some Hillary hero worshipping on Fluffbook…hardly any comment about Benghazi- all gush and dribble.
