      I started to write on how many different ways this displays what a tragic metaphor of reality for a significant number of emotionally centered, intellectually cut-off self-dehumanizing fools this is. There is not enough time.

      This reminds me of a story I read a couple years back.It was about an African woman,living in a small village in I think Rwanda.She had stepped on a land mine left over from some now forgotten war and lost a leg below the knee.Even though she had to use a crude wooden peg,she still walked several miles each day to fetch water for her family and see that her children made it to and from school each day.

    I saw a couple of news items today about recounts in the US. One implied that the result could give Hillary the Oval Office.
    However, I looked again later in the day and the recounts weren’t even near the top of the stories listed at Google News. I figured that if there was a serious chance of a change in the result that the MSM would be wetting their pants with excitement.
    Could anyone shed some light on the process and its possible consequences?

      Well as I understand it,every state has it’s own rules as to when a recount can happen.Some states will automatically do a recount if the margin between candidates is less than 2% of the total vote,some do it at .5%.Some states the candidate can petition the state’s election board to do a recount and some require the candidate to get a petition and pay for the recount.So it’s all up in the air without looking at the law in each state in question.

      Now,the kicker is,each state certifies it’s vote on a different date.IIRC they said last night Michigan goes next week and Pennsylvania the week after,so time is running out for a challenge.

      As for consequences,well anything goes.It could be another 2000,where it’s fought out in the courts for a couple months.IF anything gained traction and looked like,or resulted in the election being overturned,then all bets are off and civil war,riots,marshal law etc could break out.
