      I’ve said ever since this “Leftist Silent Coup” started against Trump early this year that even if successful – and if they somehow bring down Trump and remove him from office by (1) Assassination. (2) Pseudo/ Legal /Witch Hunt (3) Impeachment/Removal from office by the Republican Congress. – that it would be an open declaration of civil war.

      The Left and the “Never Trump” RINOs wrongly think the revolution ends with the destruction of Trump – Wrong! It will move into an ultra violent phase with armed militias shooting traitors on the street at high noon.

      The best outcome would be if the right won outright,the worst would be if the left won.
      Somewhere in the middle is what I think might happen-Balkanization.A country divided in to regions made up of similar minded individual states.Those regions that lean right will prosper business as usual.We know how to fight,we know how to achieve objectives and we know how government should run.

      This regions that lean left will either go though a period of self correction once they realize that stupid leftist bull shit doesn’t work.Or they will descend into tyranny and all that goes with it.

      It’s just government incompetence Jamie.I have no doubt that there are private construction firms in both NZ and Australia that could have all that fixed in less than a month.
      It’s a simple as letting a cost plus contract with a set completion date with bonuses for early completion and penalties for late completion.

      As a taxpayer I’m already paying that manpower to sit in the barracks doin’ jack. The way I figure it I could at least get some bang for my buck. What with ISIL in NZ being a protected species and all.

      Now I don’t know what it was like back in the glory days but in my day I saw far too many of the lower ranks demobilized, having learned only one trade. I was fortunate to of learnt two.

      If them grunts where trained in the art of earth works and road construction during their hitch with the army, when they leave they could always go work for a private road construction company. That private road construction company would benefit on the back end by receiving an already highly trained and experienced worker, courtesy of the taxpayer.
