‘Who took away Australia?
Suddenly, the bush has almost vanished from our television screens, as well as from our art, our poetry and even the songs of our country singers.
It’s gone, just when we most need to remind our children how much there is to love that lies beyond their suburbs…’

    Lying bastard TV3 woman blaming Tony Abbot for “inflaming” protesters who then attack the red head lefty. very undignified scenes.

      I saw that disgraceful report, Kowtow. Reading the comments Abbot made, it’s impossible for any reasonable person to come to that conclusion.
      The media really are terrified of the guy.

    I live right on the edge of the bush, with a river on one side and a big lake on the other.

    And kids complain ‘ there is nothing to do here’

    Nothing between their ears, more like…

    They’re used to being spoon-fed entertainment by Playstation and television, Os. Playing in the bush requires a little energy and imagination….
    When I was a kid, if we saw any water bigger than a puddle, the first thing we’d do is look for stuff to make a boat.
